the absolute bait-and-switch when I thought this was gonna be a visual novel but it turned into a shoot 'em up. cinema. Being able to grab anything (the kids, the guys shooting guns, the guys with shields, the BULLETS) was awesome, and I wish I was good enough to attempt to grab the tanks/tank missiles. This was really fun.

Some small things I think would improve game feel. It seems that you have to start pressing spacebar when you're next to an enemy to grab them; if it instead just checked if spacebar is pressed when you enter an enemy's hitbox, it would give players more leeway to press spacebar earlier and have more success grabbing. Currently it feels punishing when I press space juust a bit too early/late. Also, I often lost sight of where I was during the invincibility frames; I would have preferred it to set my alpha to transparent, like 0.3, rather than completely invisible.

Hahaha I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for playing!

I actually started with grab pressed, then hold, and then settled on pressed, because I often found myself grabbing the wrong things if I was holding space. I also found it a little too easy, I liked the aspect of having to time the actual press, maybe what I need to do is to increase the grab range. Its interesting to hear your opinion on it!

And I also agree on the invincibility frames being unclear, it was kind of a last-second thought to add, and I think making the alpha lower instead of 0 would be a great fix, thank you for the suggestion!
