Pretty cool ideas in this game! Some critiques I have would be that keeping the movement on the arrow keys and having some of the interactions require mouse input can feel a little clunky since one hand or the other has to move back and forth from keyboard to mouse. The environment art is great looking and the sounds feel right. If you expanded on this, it could be something really cool!
I like the ideas presented, the execution is a bit rough. The conversations between Six and Smith is nice, but they come up a little too frequently. The pacing was a little all over the place. Visuals and Audio are okay, and working as a secret agent is VERY SERIOUS. Good Work!
The aesthetic and ambience are very cool
Interesting concept with the spinning mini-games, and the visuals are cool too. The mini-games can feel a bit repetitive and frequent, but I think extending the platforming sections could help balance that out. The core mechanic is there, and it has potential after expanded further.
This remind me of a game I used to play on my DS when I was a kid. Very nostalgic. Good job!
FOCUS 6! I liked the little dialogue box that talks to you, it keeps it engaging. The variety of spin-based minigames that interacted differently with the world was also fun. I'm glad it wasn't just the "spin mouse in a circle to power up the generator" one every time.
Interesting use of a puzzle platformer, just wished the tutorials were more apart one from another so it wouldn't jam so much the initial playthrough. Still, nice artstyle and good idea!
I liked the gameplay mix.
Nice submission! I love the art and the concept
Nice, I like the use of spinning as "hacking" tools, and the visuals and audio are super nice.
Nice visuals, I liked the atmosphere and cyberpunk vibe. Very short so hard to give too much feedback about where you're going with this, but the mix of platforming and little puzzle/minigames is neat. The control scheme felt a little odd with having to move from arrows to mouse, I think wasd+e would feel more natural for this than arrow keys + x (but maybe I am too biased by right handedness and qwerty keyboards!) It's a good base framework for building on though, nice job!
Let's just say I choked on my ambition abit as director Krennic.
I am still having headaches from not sleeping from some issues happening from the mini games and gdmaim used with dialoguemanager and trying to solve them XD.
I should have listened to myself and pivoted to a gag game I had in mind, but yeah I am crazy like that
Nice pixel art!
I think the control mapping could've worked better with WASD for movement, it was a bit jarring having to switch from keyboard to mouse for the spinning bits.
Great work on the art and sound, they definitely set the games tone!
The art style is absolutely AMAZING!! I agree with the other comments on the puzzles. They got a little repetitive but I still had a good time. The main issue I had were the controls!!!!! Wish they were more intuitive and didn't require me to move from keyboard to mouse so much.
Overall though a really great project and I see so much potential!
This puzzle platformer showed some impressive technical knowhow and almost feels like a techdemo in some ways. I wish the game was a little more intuitive: I fealt lost at times and there don't seem to be ways to re-read the guidance. Also trying to use a mouse, arrow keys, space bar and the x button at the same would require three hands minimum :)
Great style and cool puzzle-execution - would love to see a more polished version of this some day!
great art style and cool puzzles related to the theme
this has potential in being a full fledged puzzle game.
that being said it get repetitive real fast (in a short demo like this is fine - so didn't take this into my rating)
if you guys are aiming to keep this going for a full game
puzzles need to be spread out more. and the music shouldn't hold the same loop
the entire level.
and a pay off for each puzzle other than just being a hurdle in the way would be great
in game currency that is used later on for example.
nice work.
