This is quite a cool concept - definitely a unique spin on the genre! I have a few complaints however. First of all, there's a performance issue it seems - whenever I fullscreen (which is basically essential to actually read the text in the game) my FPS drops significantly (can't say exact numbers but it looks like 10-20 by my eye). For reference, I have a Ryzen 5 5600G, RTX 3050, and 24gb of RAM. Additionally, it would've been nice to have a volume slider since the audio is mixed a bit strangely (the SFX is a tad loud in my opinion). A more interactive tutorial would've been nice - it took me (and it seems a lot of others) a hot second to get a handle on the game, which may put off some people not bothered to put in the work to actually learn.
To be a bit more positive, I quite like the eerie background music that persists throughout the game. The art is pretty great too, though I think it would've benefitted from scaling up a bit! Overall a solid game that could use a bit of extra work!
