Here is a thought challenge for anyone that wants to try.

How do you design a game where the main character is super overpowered, like One punch man the game. (Doesnt have to be opm just an example)

Edit* Incase you are unclear this just a fun design challenge on how you would make a game in such style. An example would be your overpowered but you have to pull your punches so the media doesn't frame you a killer, or a puzzle where each enemy is done in one shot but you have to figure out how to get to them through their mech suits.

Have Fun coming up with ideas :D

Isn't that what they do in God of War? I've played very little of it but I know that you're an overpowered force fighting other overpowered forces.

And if the game makes you more powerful over time then the goal is to keep the enemy challenging relatively to the player (Hollow Knight doesn't really make you overpowered but the difference between the first and last few bosses is huge).

i think point in one punch man is not only in power fantasy but in how character feels and behaves in result of that. im sure that you was misled by this cause Saitama is really sad and frustrated about his powers and even wants to become weaker so he can fight decently.

Saitama as character  works not because he is overpowered and how he utilizes it, but mostly how WORLD react to it.

I'm not sure what you meant by misled but I totally agree that the world's reactions would be the main point of a game in this theme.

Rather than the challenge being surviving, the challenge would be rescuing squishy civilians from a devastating villain attack, and avoiding collateral damage when you use your very destructive powers. You may be unkillable and unstoppable but your public perception is fragile.
