What a cool rhythm game!  Very different from others I've seen in terms of mechanics.  Some of the patterns in the tracks make you think and plan on the fly and change plans on a dime, whereas others let you just vibe in a flow state; I really like the ebb and flow of tension as you work through the songs.  It's also cool how you introduce new little tweaks on the mechanics as the levels progress.

I wish there was more feedback on the scoring (maybe flash the segment that you landed on when collecting a note) since I didn't initially realize what was causing the .5x, .7x, etc (I originally thought it was about whether I caught the note on the beat or not, rather than about physical location).

The art is really well done, but it's almost too clean for my taste.  It looks really smooth and polished, but it almost feels AI-like in its lack of rough edges.

The songs are all bangers!  No notes there.

All-in-all, a really great, well-polished jam entry with a fun mechanic.  I had a lot of fun with it.  Great job to everyone involved.

A wonderful concept efficiently conveyed. I was surprised to see how much you explored the design space with just these four levels, and it’s nice to see a rhythm game that’s nothing like Rhythm Heaven yet also toys with the player’s expectations. It makes playing it feel like having a conversation with the developer.

This bite-size experience was a blast and left me wanting more, but I wonder if I’d be able to reach a flow state playing this game for an extended period. It demands more visual acuity and motor control than the games I’m used to, making it hard for me to feel the groove. But I bet osu! players will have a good time.

Wow, thanks for the kind words and we're happy the design resonated with you! Since the control scheme can be hard to get used to, we hope we can instead make flow state come more easily with note patterns that players can expect and still feel clever for passing them

This is amazing wow it's almost hard to believe you managed to make it in a week it's so polished! Might be a skill-issue but that first level beat me up bad. Once you get used to it, it's pretty satisfying to play!

Glad you enjoyed it in the end! We ran out of time to add a practice mode but for a jam ideally we could have tested the first level more since we can't have the experience of going into the game blind

Appreciate the support! Tried the hamster ball game too, that's a huge world layout you designed in a week  <3

Such an amazing game. I feel like I can be a real dj now.

put this experience on your DJ resume!

Such a cool concept! Hitting the notes right on the beat feels really satisfying! The rewind mechanic was such a lifesaver too lol

If there will be future updates, adding buffs would make it for fun!
Have fun spinning, my fellow DJs! 🎧
