Fun gameplay loop and great polish all around. I think a wider variety in upgrades could be a big improvement, maybe some new abilities to shake things up.

Thanks for the feedback! I was going to add a lot of upgrades, but unfortunately I didn't have enough time :( I did have some cool ones planned.
