Nicely done "Spinning plates" game!  Looks pretty good, sound is on, controls well, and cutscenes as well!  Very ambitious for one week of work!

Great game! Good cutscenes. Nice interstellar commentary. Overall great job! I didn't die once but it felt like certain upgrades were must haves. Well done!

Amazing little jam game, It was incredibly fun to play and I greatly enjoyed it, Only critique is that the hitbox on the slowing field is really weird which causes it at times to become impossible to move.

Amazing game and you all should be proud!!

LOVE ME SOME ALIEN GAMES!!! Thanks so much for submitting!!

Greatly balanced and designed game! My only problem is the fact that sometimes I couldn't really catch and move around the slowing field, so I lost a lot of time (and a lot of health) because of that.

Other than that, pretty good game! I could see this being expanded upon in Into The Breach style, with different turrets we could buy and swap from our arsenal.

Overall, I had a good (tho wouldn't say relaxing :D) time with it :>

Amazing game, played this for more than half an hour without getting bored, very well done!

I really like the introduction of the new alien enemies together with their human counter measure. The visuals are nice, the sounds are nice, pretty cool.

A few points of feedback

  • Dragging the slowing machine is only possible by dragging its center. It would be more intuitive to ensure that players can drag regardless where they click on the machine structure.
  • Positioning the weapons was not super easy at first, but you could work around that by dragging and moving your mouse exactly at the enemy you want to shoot.
  • The audio of the shield penetration weapon is not the best, its a bit load/repetitive.

But I consider this minor feedback points. One of the better ones I played in this jam (and I played a lot of games already 😅)

Well done

I like a good tower defense. I think this tower defense has a good enough tutorial, good visuals and pretty aliens to fight, and creative mechanics, because it requires you to move your weapons and point them at a very precise angle in space. A wrong angle even by a little bit can be your death. But if it is creative, it also is maybe perhaps a bit unpolished, because I think it needs to be easier. And I think one big thing about games is letting us feel like we can do it and get the hang of it at the first levels before getting so hard. Of course that’s not a requirement (Lion King for NES(?) was like, you did the first level, if you could do it even, and then the second levels was nuts. So you can try and make it very hard, with a lot to manage at once, but it also means it’s going to be hard. So I can’t play it for so long.

And the target areas to click and drag something (especially the electric/magnetic wave) were a bit too small.

Really fun tower defense game. Always get good upgrades against new types of enemies in each stage, cool music too. Well done!

It's a fun tower defense game and a good use of the theme. Nice job!

Nice idea, and it was smart to use something to slow down and keep yourself busy at all times. I think the game could be a bit easier for the starting levels though.
