Very good and cozy, but it did take me a while to get my bearings on the gameplay, but the  music made it pleasant to find out

Really chill game. Love the visuals. Should be able to press "E" after you hook the fish, that way can just use the mouse for winding the fish in.

You also forgot to add your credits. When you hit the credits button, it says "Add your credits here".

Thank you!!

really cute game, lovely visuals. A bit more gameplay variation would've been better but this is really cute.

I really liked the sound design!

Nice use of the jam's theme, too. I think the gameplay would feel even better if there were one less step before reeling the fish in, and if there were more mechanics built around the spinning aspect of the game.

Really nice work!

Thank you! I think it came out this way as we were already committed to a game loop that we thought about at the start of the jam, and there was no time to pivot from it :) Actually, a great lesson to get.

Num num num. 20kg of fish is a good-sized dinner for me!

I have so much fish XD Very cute and relaxing. Would make a  great mini game for a cozy game.

I kept replaying this game for a while - I found it really enjoyable once I got the hang of it! The 3D looks super clean, the audio is well designed, and the fish & main character look so cute! I think it's great to have that little scoreboard to add a tiny bit of pressure on the player too, makes you really wanna keep reeling them in!

If there is anything more I'd like to see in a future version, it would be to rely less on the UI elements when catching the fish, and show more of what happens in the 3D world. However, I understand this could require a lot extra time, and admittedly, this is a pretty small critique since the audio feedback & UI drawings when catching fish is are really nice [:

Thank you for your feedback!!

Your suggestion is really great, pivoting more to a 3d visual feedback for fishes biting/fleeing or player trying to pool fish out, zoomin in - zoomin out, all of this stuff would be a nice touch to add to the game

😀This is a fun and relaxing game. The audio and music design is on fire, and the visuals are also so good. However, it's too hard to catch the fish. Maybe I don't understand how to do it

Thank you so much. it's really a good point - I think we are missing some sort of an icons for the cursor that will be showing what buttons to click to perform desired action.

The atmosphere of the game is very calm, the visuals are adorable and you get hooked quickly! I don't know what I'm going to do with 11kg of fish but it's enjoyable to catch them! Best of luck! 😊

Thank you so much! You can throw a BBQ party cooking all the fishes that you caught!
