I maxed out the spin and wobble. The amusement stat said 0/1000 but that wasn't my experience.

I really like the idea and the spritework is absolutely beautiful!

A whimsical little experience. I like the idea of it, but it was a bit difficult to find that "right" balance for amusement without any hints on what the riders were wanting. Really neat pseudo-3D for the carousel! Can definitely see this developing into something like a mini-tycoon.

Not affecting the vote: definitely agree with okayray that having music timed to the wobbles (or vice versa) could be quite neat, but from my own research into Godot's audio system that might be a little difficult with the lack of dedicated audio system. Maybe the more recent updates can solve it (one of the new audio types provided, I think it's something like AudioStreamSync, could be good), but I imagine it would still be quite challenging. Might need to look into FMOD's or REAPER's Godot mix-in plugins.

Thank you so much for all your specific tips—I really appreciate them. I'll definitely check out the plug-ins! Thanks for your review and for giving the game a try :)

Carousel artwork is so pretty! Could be cool if you found a way to incorporate music that matched the spin / wobble (ramp of tempo/speed?).

I liked this one! Very simple and unique game idea, good job! Is there no music/sfx or is it my fault? Haha

Developer(+1)

Oh no, you didn't do anything wrong, we just spent a little too much time in Aseprite, and suddenly the deadline was upon us. :/

I know a good honse game when I see one!

Honse! Honse! Honse!

(Thank you so much, I really enjoyed yours :) )

Cool concept! I'd love to see this expended a bit, maybe adding more spinning attractions etc.. This would get intense really quickly !

Developer

Yeah, I totally agree—we still had a nice, long to-do list left at the end of the jam :D

Thank you so much for giving it a try :)

This is a really interesting take on the spin theme, but I just wish there was a bit more to do. I feel it would be more fun if there would be upgrades or something you can buy with your money. I also wish there would be more than one person riding the carousel at once. If there was more to do I'm sure this would be a great game

Developer

Hey, thanks for your feedback and for checking out the game! It's interesting that in your case, only one visitor could ride along—normally, several should be able to hop on. I've increased the spawn rate for the visitors; maybe that'll fix the problem :)

Submitted(+1)

That fixed it! Multiple people can now ride at once and the increased spawn rate makes it, so you don't need to wait a really long time to get riders. I also like the little + and - sign as an indicator of whether people liked the ride or not. I updated your games rating! Good job!
