Great concept and very well executed. I might have preferred to control the game with something else (like the mouse whee), and maybe it would have been helpful to add rails to the moving platforms but it's still excellent—congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it! Raising the sides of the moving platforms a little more could be the fix there to keep from falling as easily. And the mouse wheel control would be interesting to experiment with in some way. Many thanks!

this is really really good, the art and sounds are awesome, the level design is great and the gameplay is very fun

my only gripe is that with spinning the cogs it felt a little awkward for only left/right drags to work but i got the hang of it i kept wanting to spin the mouse in circles, though not sure how that could be properly implemented or if it would even make it feel better

Developer

Thank you I’m glad you liked those parts of the game! I had some friends try it out too and they also tried to spin the mouse in circles initially up until the left-right motion made sense. So that’s worth considering as I update the game after this jam. I appreciate the feedback!

I really like this game! The art style slaps and the gameplay feels awesome! Very polished for a game jam too.

Thanks for checking it out I'm glad you like it!

Do u have a web version of this, I do not like strange installers inserting themselves into my pc and injecting their malware payloads in.

Game has potential, that's why I shortlisted to review ;)

I originally uploaded the game as playable in browser, but the click and drag mechanic to play it seemed to bug out whenever the surrounding webpage was interacted with, unfortunately. Once the game jam is over, I will look to upload a web friendly version of the game with that fixed. For now the download file works as intended. If you're willing to try it out, it'll be there! I appreciate the shortlist!

This reminds me of Foddy games and it's so good! I so want to see a speedrun of this game!! I love how there are so many ways to creatively pass sections and how you designed somewhat checkpoints with the placement! The atmosphere is also super cohesive.

Thank You!! I just had a friend try it and he said the same thing about the Foddy game feel. And I actually really wanted to add a timer system in as well to play to that speedrunning idea, but ironically enough I just ran out of time haha. I appreciate the feedback from you and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I see you also made a submission and I'll be sure to play your game as well!

This is a very solid game, especially considering it's for a game jam. Very solid concept, easy to understand after playing around with it for a minute, and the visuals and audio are on point. Very well done!

Thank you so much! I'm glad the concept came across well! I appreciate you checking the game out and I'll be making my way to your own submission shortly. I'm exited to play it!
