I loved how seriously this silly premise was taken - the polish is fantastic!
A lot of polish made by Polish Devs :D
Really like the visuals!
Pretty cool idea, and I just love jam! The veggies are cool and all the art is well done! Thanks for hanging in the stream, your team ROCKS for helping me out! see yall again soon!
Really cute game about jam, I just feel like the reel would be better if it was faster.
Always fun to see games about jam in a game jam. The reel in being so slow, coupled with the fact that you deal less damage the more reeled in you are, meant that if almost any enemy got past you it was basically guaranteed to damage you. Thankfully you were generous with the health restoration, and I did eventually get the hang of making sure I was always in front of the spawning enemies. Not sure how much score I needed for the cog, but got there in the end! (Oh, and side note in case nobody else has told you, the reason you have missing glyphs in the web build is because you didn't export that font in the project - but it's not like they got in the way at least!) Good job with it, I had fun. :D
Metagame cog 87/126
Thanks for playing our game fellow jammer!
For the cog you needed a little bit more than the Bomborówka (Boomberry) milestone. Let's still keep the exact number enigmatic for other people ;)
And thank you for the explaining the encoding problem with the export, I never experienced this in my few last projects so I'll be more thoughtful next time(s).
Amazing game, the artstyle is both cute and kind of unsettling for me, I honestly don't know why the vibe feels so depressing and hopeless to me. There's a neat learning curve to understanding when & how you should pull yourself in, let yourself go or change the direction to either hit or dodge those approaching. I got the gear.
That's the exact vibe we were looking for, cute at first, but kinda uncanny underneath. We are happy we achieved exactly that 😁, also we hope the learning curve of the game was fitting. Thanks for playing!
Cool and creative idea for the theme :)
I like the art style and the feeling of the swing^^
The control of the swing got a bit overwhelming for me by the time. U really need to get focussed there xD
I thought.. Maybe it could be a bit more "easy" to control (i mean the change of direction) if u need to hold the RMB and on release it changes back to the "normal" direction. Think that could make it more intuitive and more direct.
But overall fun game :)
I'm not a big fan of the changing direction myself (it was implemented by my colleague), but the concept you proposed sounds cool. We'll be sure to check and test it in the future. Thanks for the feedback <3
This is a very creative idea! all the art looks so juicy and satisfying I could definitley see myself grinding this game
Well we sometimes got lost in the game during development ourselves, so we are happy to hear that the players also got that experience!
very simple yet challenging gameplay loop! each attempt i got further and further as i got a better grasp of timing, and this is the type of game that you can genuinely enter a flow state in if you play long enough. nice work :D
That's what we were looking for in a loop and we are happy that you liked it
Took me a minute to understand the controls, but once I did this is pretty fun!
Unfortunately I don't have the patience to try and get very far, because the runs get so long, but all from the idea, over sound design and visuals are very sound!
Cool game The controls are a bit difficult to master tho but its pretty fun.
Nice game! Although it's a bit too difficult for me 😅
The visuals are really nice, the intro is cool, and the credits are 👌
Thanks a lot we are very proud of this project.
As for the difficulty we probably got so good at the games from playing it instead of actually making it (aka procrastinating) that we got a different view on the difficulty. The only tips I can give is: you can change directions at RMB (a lot of people miss it), spend time to get what's going on or if you want to just f*ck around we recommend turning sandbox mode - having a hight spawn rate and a lot of explosions is very satisfying even though the highscore doesn't count then
I was really bad at the game haha, but the vibe is cool! I couldn't get very far, but I can tell it's a fun concept; now I have to practice...
That's the mindset we were looking for!
For us it was easy to lose ourself in spinning that ball and get better. The only thing that is needed is time.
