This one is one of my favorites so far! I love the mechanic using the cursor to pedal and really fits the theme of this jam. Art and SFX were great too! I may be a bit biased, but I really would've liked to hear some music in the level, but that is a nitpick! A really fun and polished game overall!
(It doesn't say it under my username, but I made the music for Waltz of the Sapling if you want to give it a try!)
Reminds me of Elasto Mania :)
Fun game! Reminds me of happy wheels! Impressive animation and art style was really nice.
Nice job, and pretty unique way to use the theme.
Cool way to play the game! Lots of spinning during the process.
This is one of those games that I play tested before this rating phase that really stuck with me. The art feels amazing and I love the parallax backgrounds. Usually, I say games feel incomplete without music or anything playing in the background, but this game somehow makes the lack of music work. The sound effects are probably doing a lot of the heavy lifting, but they sound really nice. The controls are extremely easy to learn as it's just a circle with your mouse. Any game where the entire explanation of how to play can be fit into a sentence or two definitely did something right for keeping a jam game simple. I also love the particles that fly behind your bike. Helps sell how fast you are going. I had a really fun time playing this. You did a really good job!
not the most creative but was really fun with great art
I agree.
Thank you!
Is 12150 score good on first level? I hope so cuz my arm is so tired now hahah
Great game and artstyle, also idea was good, so far didnt see any game here that makes me spin mouse to gain some speed so yeah cool!
yes it is.
by the end of the jam my hand didnt wanna spin no more because of all the playtesting lol.
Pretty good! Level 1 was surprisingly tough, you really have to hit the big jump perfectly to maintain enough momentum for the next.
Thank You for the feedback!
I like the mechanical feel of this a lot. I don't know if I was doing something wrong but I feel like no matter how fast I rotated my cursor I just couldn't consistently clear that first jump.
The physics felt really good though - it would be cool to use the distance of your cursor to the pedals as your 'gear' so rotating closer gives much more torque and further away gives more speed.
Nice game!
thank you!
I like the idea, reminded me of happy wheels a bit but if it were more focused on speed. I found it hard to know how to get past some parts, like you obviously need to not go too fast or too slow during some parts but there's no real way to know besides trial and error which isn't a bad thing but after trying and failing a lot it get pretty tedious having to spin my mouse around the pedals like that. Other than that I think it's a good concept, I think you can expand on it for sure!
Thank you!
I Wanted to lean into the trial and error because there were only two levels but now i think that was a mistake lol.
