the latest version (1.8) is rather disappointing, while the potential is there it feels like there has been significant regression in some places compared to the "Legacy Demo" Version it feels more like a Dev area then a proper release; basically everywhere but like three or four locations lack textures, there's no sound outside the main menu and area changing, while i appreciate the toned down physics on her character model it seems to have caused a new issue where moving and walking causes this weird vibration on her abdomen and breasts, the save system is heavily bugged and causes you to loose even item you were wearing when you saved, while the inventory has a better concept then the 1.5 demo its also less intuitive and lacks a clean design, the movement feels less like a stealth game now that said i don't disagree with the faster walking, though most of these issues come with development of a game and is to be expected; the main issue i have is how much the play area has devolved, while yes you've opened up a much larger area and shown us your idea for what you wish to make you've forgotten the what a demo is meant to be, while yes it is meant to show what you want to do with the game and that it is still being developed but is is also meant to show gameplay and what the game/product will be like. to close id like to draw back to my first point this demo feels more like a Dev test version then an actual demo, that said i do love the idea and hope to see more of this game it truly shines with freedom of clothing and dressing our character id also like to see some more impact from the "Toys" i cant imagine it would be easy to walk around with one of those being "Used".
sorry if this comment feels or reads weird its my first time commenting like this

I know you guys crunched to get into DD69 but this was quite disappointing. The first demo was a really solid stealth game and pretty much everything that made it work has vanished. The other posts already aired a lot of my grievances but I also have some more:
- Really have to do something about that shader stutter, it gets brutal right after that first chat with Nife. If they’re unavoidable, you should at least cap your deltatime so the mouselook doesn’t freak out on the following frame.
- The inventory is still really scuffed. While this one is a little better designed than the previous one the implementation is significantly worse. I can’t tell if right or left click is supposed to unequip because every garment seems to have its own unique interpretation of what either means. You really ought to keep it consistent by having left click always open a context menu with no change unless you make a selection, and right click should be the quick-unequip option.
- When I loaded a previous save to get some drawing reference most of my inventory was missing except for a small selection of eight items. I was also locked in Vebber’s place with no way to get out.
- It’s pretty annoying that ESC also pauses on top of closing the inventory, it really should do one or the other.
- I don’t know if I like the new movement. Like it is more intuitive but the old system was just complex enough in the right places to make it really satisfying to move around once you mastered it. The slower running speed before also meant that guards chasing you were a serious risk without having to move super fast.
- Ratalie’s arm flailing kicks in way too fast when you’re jumping. I would think it should start only after a second or so otherwise every jump looks like she nearly tripped over something.
- I’m running on Linux through proton, and while a lot of stuff is really obviously placeholder, but the outside of the well area stood out as looking wrong, like the material was missing for all this grass

- Speaking of the well, it’s actually a little weird that the gang’s hideout isn’t somewhere in the middle of town. Like why bother with the excavation if they’re out in the country? Even the intro of her getting caught stealing is in this big sewer that doesn’t make a lot of sense now.
I don’t know what to tell you guys, the new assets all look fine, and I get there was a ton of work done code-wise to make the systems more robust and configurable. But it really hasn’t come together and the game has definitely regressed. If you want a fresh pair of eyes on your code send me a DM on discord. I don’t know Unity very deeply but I did teach C# at a university for many years so I could offer a different perspective.
Best of luck with what you’re doing, Ratalie is still a cutie.
the big open world is ambitious but felt very disorienting.
at first i just beelined towards the town completely ignoring the walkable path, so i eventually hit an invisible wall and missed the travel to town prompt
in town i talked to the woman in the shop about cursed clothes to recover, i roamed around the town until i found a "laboratory ship" prompt, there i found some cursed items but after equipping the blindfold i essentially softlocked myself, because after getting back to town i was unable to find my way back to the shop or anywhere else, really.
if you are going for the big open world route might as well add a skyrim like compass to guide towards the next objective
the menuing is kind of weird. it took me a while to realize i had to HOLD f to pick up the cheese, and later during the dialog sometimes you have to press space to progress, and sometimes F to pick a dialog option, i would just use E for both personally
after last year's demo i was excited for this one but i ended up massively disappointed, dick in hand and all.
seems like you guys had some trouble during the last year or something? i like the new scope for the game and as always great mood and animations but it does suck to see such a big setback happened
I did the only questchain and it seemed like content ended there, I think I explored all the maps and wasn't able to find anything else to do besides picking up items and short talk with some npcs at the casino
I understand there's stealth mechanics but I couldnt find any enemy npc besides two in the casino with debug numbers on top of their head, but they didnt see me even when standing in front of them
In the casino some interactions got me stuck and I wasn't able to leave them unless I pressed escape, interacted with them again (as I couldnt move) and pressed escape again. By doing that the npcs got stuck in animation though but I was free to move.
When walking zoomed in the camera seems to misbehave, trembling in an annoying way, I found that after leaving the well near the start of the game
A few times i fell off terrain, sometimes I got teleported back and sometimes I didnt and I had to reload
Keybind menu looks off, texts on top of others
I didnt know how to change my outfit, I used a menu that I opened with tab but I think this is for debug
At the town when walking around the benches the character gets a bit stuck, I was also able to land the climbing animation on a wall after going down the stairs from svetlanas shop but got pushed off, unsure if thats intended
It felt like a super early prototype so I cant say if it was fun or not because there wasn't any gameplay, just loose maps with single animation interactions
the characters, animations and outfits look great, although at some times it feels like everything is too dark and you cant see whats going on or you get silly flying eyes from the darkness since the eyes are unlit
no vod because of the nature of the game, sorry!
