It's so hard to give honest feedback on a 4x, I love these games but anything I say regarding balance and gameplay can be thrown out the window because you need hours to get a good feel.

I kinda like the whole latin stuff but at the same time I have no idea what some things do, I noticed in some places where if you mouseover you get an english text box, I'm guessing this will become more normal across the game? At the start menu I was lost with some buttons. I'm Argentinian so I can understand or guess some words due to the similarity with Italian, I imagine others will not be as lucky. Even so, some words were completely unknown.

At one point the helper said I could order slaves to automatically build stuff, I didn't find slaves, if it meant workers then I didnt find the option later on to automate them.

Sometimes hitboxes get weird, at 23:19 in my vod, you can see how I'm trying to select an unit, but for some reason a large part of the square was for the city.

My game completely broke down after I tried combat, I got a load screen that never finished loading and the game went back to the map view. In this map view I had to manually end the turns of the other civilizations and I couldn't select any unit anymore. At like 33:30 I try to attack and from that point till the end of the stream the game seems broken.

I wasn't sure about the unit movement controls on map, my assumption would be clicking to select and right click to move or order, that way you can click on anything without mistakenly ordering a movement if you dont forget to deselect.

I didn't find what causes growth, it was just a percentage going up and mouseovering added no feedback.

The panem sprite looks like rotten meat, is it meant to be bread? Also the faces on the left side of your screen when you select a settlement, are they happy faces? angry faces? They look kinda spooky with those bright yellow eyes

I played alone and I'm happy to announce I was first, however I was also last.

I was surprised at the amount of minigames, it kept the game fresh, although I only played one session of 10 minutes, a couple games repeated. I imagine for a later date there's going to be way more minigames.

Having to learn the controls of each minigame on the fly seemed part of the fun, specially with the timer ticking down

The plates minigame seemed bugged, it teleported me around

Spot the difference minigame could use bigger hitboxes

Overall, I like it however I wouldn't play again since I feel like after 10mins I completed the game and there's no fresh content, the minigames are simple enough to become repetitive fast, which is not necessarily a bad thing but besides perfectionism to ace them. One obvious thing to note is that I played a party game alone.

I played for half an hour, I was left dissatisfied, I wasn't able to learn how to fight properly and have fun in combat

first combat I won without me doing anything, I was just mostly pressing W trying to figure out the keys. Second combat i flied up and got insta deleted. Third combat I tried to use the terrain to hide from incoming shots but died anyways. Fourth combat I rushed forward again and got deleted.

In neither of the fights I felt like I did anything at all, are my shots hitting? dealing damage? am I aiming properly? There's a lot of questions related to combat feedback left unanswered.

About the UI related to the preparation before a fight, I got extremely overwhelmed by the amount of things there are, I suggest drip feeding them with some progression system, I had no idea what most items, crew statistics, shapes, colors, tanks and mechas are

Finished it it, is it fun? A little bit:

- It's really low APM which makes me wonder if its a game at all, I was just staring at the game play by itself or just looking away while waiting for the dungeon to finish

- When doing dungeons I had to wait a lot to reach to the part where I lost previously, making the process feel tedious

- Near the end it got more interesting as I had to plan ahead on what to do when encountering sets of enemies, having the enemies not be random was key. Example: how to use the heroic strikes and the usage of the protection

- I couldn't see what abilities did mid dungeon when mouseovering them, that was a tiny annoyance

- Progress seemed steadily and fun, although sometimes after finishing a dungeon the only progress I got was a single ability number increase

also pls include a download build next time, I recorded a vod I'll post it later

Thank you for your most kind comment and valuable suggestion. They are sincerely appreciated, my dear and esteemed maidcafejigglegooner

I did the only questchain and it seemed like content ended there, I think I explored all the maps and wasn't able to find anything else to do besides picking up items and short talk with some npcs at the casino

I understand there's stealth mechanics but I couldnt find any enemy npc besides two in the casino with debug numbers on top of their head, but they didnt see me even when standing in front of them

In the casino some interactions got me stuck and I wasn't able to leave them unless I pressed escape, interacted with them again (as I couldnt move) and pressed escape again. By doing that the npcs got stuck in animation though but I was free to move.

When walking zoomed in the camera seems to misbehave, trembling in an annoying way, I found that after leaving the well near the start of the game

A few times i fell off terrain, sometimes I got teleported back and sometimes I didnt and I had to reload

Keybind menu looks off, texts on top of others

I didnt know how to change my outfit, I used a menu that I opened with tab but I think this is for debug

At the town when walking around the benches the character gets a bit stuck, I was also able to land the climbing animation on a wall after going down the stairs from svetlanas shop but got pushed off, unsure if thats intended

It felt like a super early prototype so I cant say if it was fun or not because there wasn't any gameplay, just loose maps with single animation interactions

the characters, animations and outfits look great, although at some times it feels like everything is too dark and you cant see whats going on or you get silly flying eyes from the darkness since the eyes are unlit

no vod because of the nature of the game, sorry!

not being able to move forwards with W seems so strange, in fact I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why I couldnt move, it never clicked on me that movement was in arrow keys, I thought I was doing something wrong with the manual stick and engine turn on

I used to play trackmania a million years ago so it brought me back a bit, but this time the clunky controls are filtering me, I dont think I was able to experience it properly

vod:

obvious scam/virus dont download

I'm not really impressed, I think I wanna see someone whos really good with ai doing stuff everytime i see an ai prorotype its so samey and its always a prototype

It feels and it plays well so thats pretty good, I dont expect good sprites from claude but they're not terrible, same with music and sounds.

But more about the discussion that you want to bring to the table with this demo, the UI looks will soon be commonplace in a lot of bad games that do the bare minimum and will be bad to have it. Then I'm doubting on how the game can be expanded either by a person or claude itself, maybe it starts slowing down as the project grows and becomes more costly token wise and starts making more mistakes.

So yeah for now I remain skeptical but at the same time I believe that in the future this technology is gonna get better and better so bigger games done faster will start showing up

another issue with touhou games for me is that I actually dont like bullet hell games heh

vod:

(1 edit)

I read the keybinds from your game page so knowing them wasn't an issue, but when playing they felt terrible, two hands on keyboard was really awkward

Also I must have forgotten that Q was start because I read 'press start' in the game and that wasn't working so I pressed all keys until the game started. For keyboard I'd suggest Q and E to dodge, click to shoot, space to jump and enter to start. If you don't want to use click, use shift to shoot. Change target can be tab

Difficulty seems nonexistant, the biggest problem is fighting the controls, not the npcs. If I'm not wrong, you can just stand still spamming the shoot button and you just win because of the target aim. The camera also wasn't helping, I'd love to control it with the mouse, but if I can't at least make the rotation snap faster, it was really unhelpful when against other walls.

Is there more than one level? I think I pressed all keys when I finished the first one but I couldn't leave the stat page. It's hard to say if the game is fun with this short amount of content.

vod:

its had to play it since there's a lot of broken colliders and lack of a way to save your progress, I fell down the terrain twice, I wasn't able to properly play the game. I wouldn't mind keep trying if I could make a savegame so I dont have to redo the entire prologue if I randomly fall off again.

also I had no idea this game had nsfw content pls do indicate it somewhere

vod:

I discovered that you could scroll in the upgrade menu kinda late and I was about to quit thinking I'd have to deliver 50 coins at the time, the game changed for the worse after that though

when I got the storage upgrades and even when I maxed the skull absorb skill, my gameplay ended up standing still not doing anything until I delivered 6k and then I drove for 10 seconds to cap again and yet again stand still at the skull. I dont think that's a big problem though, its just an obvious balance tweaking.

I believe there's a lack of things to do or things happening, the game doesn't grow from the start and it doesn't feel fun enough

didnt find any bugs and car movement felt good

I recorded a vod but idk what happend and its not showing up, sorry about that

I wasn't able to enjoy the premise, I believe the clunky controls and lack of difficulty were the main factors

It's a tactical game but there's no tactics since there's no difficulty, your units seem to have bigger range than the tanks detection area. The tanks also deal really little damage, you can just walk in front of them and kill them at melee range while they're blasting your unit

about controls:

- click and drag selection doesn't seem to respond if I do it too fast

- the game seems to be set on a grid but you cannot see in which position of the grid you're sending your units to

- camera movement seems slow, both panning and zooming

I also found a bug where your units can shoot through walls and at one point my units were walking in the same direction making them both stand still as they were fighting for the position

VOD: (at one point the screen goes black, I'm just turning down the volume)

I can't say much about the game, it looked clean. Fights seemed uninteresting but it might just be that turn based games are not my thing or maybe that I was in the tutorial stage.

Right at the end of the vod the game randomly crashed and I stopped there

vod:

there's a lot of issues in this demo:

performance keeps dropping hard for seemingly no reason, I felt fps dropping and heard my fan go crazy, eventually I toggled on fps in the middle of recording

movement feels off, even with the cinematic camera disabled I didnt feel like my character was responding to my actual movements

lack of direction? I had no idea what I was supposed to do, I just kept pushing trying to find a reason to play, cleaned some floors, went off the woods, drove around, explored many empty rooms in a mansion

the mansion itself has a lot of terrain bugs, stairs that dont connect, machines that you can clip through, walls that dont fully close in corners, grass that clips inside the building, floors without texture so you see the skybox.

mini issues: I was able to pick up items and jump on top of them, I did it fairly early in the recording. At one point the UI says to use '2' for bug spray but thats the wrong key. The keybind helpers also clip through walls so they're hard to read at the start of the game.

All that said, the main issue is lack of direction, as a player I didnt know what I was meant to do

I want to say that the surf map part brought me some memories from two decades ago even when I couldnt do it, it was nice

vod:

needs a password

I couldnt figure out combat, sometimes it seemed like I was killing the dudes, sometimes I was able to kick them off to a hill. I saw some white and black '1' numbers but I wasn't sure what they meant

I think I pressed all the keys on my keyboard but I couldnt loot chests, maybe i got it wrong somehow

There were some  npcs I wasnt able to interact with because I was followed by enemies that I couldn't fight back so I missed that

About combat, I think there's a lack of feedback for my own actions, I can see when I get damage by keeping an eye on my hp bar, but I have no idea what my actions are doing, a lot of times I was wondering, am I damaging them?

vod: https://www.youtube.com/live/Ld9l6YcK0vM

Doesn't seem to be a prototype of a game, but a prototype of loose features.
The fighting phase was super confusing, it took me a bit to realize I could move with arrow keys instead of WASD and a couple times I got locked unable to cancel an action, at one point I just pressed all keys because I couldnt' do anything until I hit a key that cancelled the entire fight.
The fight itself was confusing too, I wasn't sure what was going on, it looked like I was healing the dragon, one it was 'full damage' there was no visible win condition for that
besides controls and confusion, it's pretty so thats nice

it needs a password to access your game :<

the download version is still from may 2025 man

About combat: I'd prefer if right click would cancel running. I'm not able to aim when holding shift even if I'm standing still, thats the issue I had doing quick actions mid combat.

About weapon controls: the system of having to press two keys to reload is unusual and it was weird at first, but I think I can get used to it. I thought racking the gun was super cool

About aiming:
- The circle that shows where your character is aiming sometimes doesn't appear at all.

- Your character breathing also affects gun positioning which sometimes the aiming go into "aiming blocked" mode for half the breathing animation and normal for the other half, toggling it on and off, this happens specially when out of stamina.

- In my VOD at around minute 18 you can see how I'm constantly shooting monitors that are in front of me and the character doesnt raise her gun to eye level, specially at 18:08
- It's strange to be able to right click at targets that you're character is unable to aim to but its understandable.

hey I checked it out here's a vod:

pros:

    - looks great

    - shooting feels really good

    - I wanted to play more

issues (categorized by the relevancy I assume)

    - hard to aim in corners, robots see you before you can shoot them

    - sometimes it felt like controls werent doing what I wanted mid combat

    - robot alert sound can be a bit annoying when many sound at the same time?

    - gun controls felt a bit clunky but I didnt play enough to get a good feel, the game ended too soon

    - stamina felt irrelevant

    - magazines blended too much with the map

    - there weren't enoughe enemies to justify picking up magazines

    - I got unlocks but no option to attach them

I misunderstood it as local network coop, not same pc, this game doesn't have split screen. If its under 2 hours of playtime you can still refund it if thats a dealbreaker for you

in the steam version yeah

I have to investigate it, I got a similar report the other day

I'm unsure what could cause that, first time I hear about it. My quick recommendation is to get the downloadable version or get the game in steam, webgl tends to break in weird ways and it changes from person to person

sounds weird, haven't had that happen before. Is it in web or the downloaded version?
if its the downloaded version, is it one you had saved or did you re-download?

the download is from may 2025

thanks for the nice comment and for playing! and yeah skin colors are something I want to add, it has some technical issues that I need to tackle first

you answered to the wrong post I didnt find any bug

Forgot to mention, the music bugs out sometimes and it stops playing when leaving a terminal

also at the level I got stuck I didnt use a terminal and the music kinda stopped too and never came back on

Played it in normal, Ill be a bit harsh on the gameplay loop/fun. I think it was too repetitive, long hallways with the same three enemies on all levels, a big worry that I have is that this game is just another doomlike to the pile without anything interesting to make it stand out.

Fighting the enemies isnt an issue either since all you have to do is keep moving and its really hard for you to get hit

I don't know what makes a doom-like be a fun game nowadays but I encourage you to investigate and try to implement changes into the core gameplay loop before you continue expanding.

Notes:

- The map is a bit confusing to follow and you cant interact with it, my character started to shoot as I clicked on it.

- Weapon animations forbid weapon change which can be pretty annoying, I tried to swap fast inbetween different weapons and it didnt let me.

- There's a lack of shooting feedback, it wasn't really clear at first that shooting the shields wasnt dealing damage, maybe some spark effect or dust dunno.

- I had to skip a level with debug tools because it was telling me to kill a hacker and I had no idea what that meant, I did kill all enemies and left alive the guys without weapons because they seemed like chill dudes who didnt want no trouble.

I got stuck in this level "longer than four hours", the elevator on the left side of the screenshot didnt work and I couldnt find any button to activate it

At first the fights were a bit boring since they were all samey after I learned the grasp and idea on how I'm meant to play but they picked up near the end, in fact I almost lost but the blue haired girl ended up having a oneshot skill that saved me.

I wasn't able to figure out which stance to take since the attack animations were too fast for my reaction speed, it seemed like I was meant to learn a pattern. If there is a pattern Id suggest changing the enemies looks to differentiate the block combos.

I think I didn't use all fight mechanics as they were both needed and the game also finished fairly fast, I didnt use any item or understood the parry mechanic beyond standing still or ducking, but I was swapping to the second character while the enemy was flying. Notes: -At the main menu you're asked to press any button and I was a bit stumped because I'm in keyboard and mousee without knowing I was meant to hit specific keys

-City movement maybe feels too fast, although im not sure about it, its just a thought

-At one point an enemy lost all its hp and I swapped to the blue haired girl as a combo, she didnt do any action but still lost the turn, I would have preferred that the game checks for this and lets me play her turn, although its a fair punishment maybe, up to you.

-I had a crash I couldn't reproduce, I think it was when an enemy was following me to start a fight, see screenshot for the pop-up log

first time playing, I ended up doing most of the fish level, might come back to do the rest later.
Played with keyboard and mouse and I struggled a lot with the swimming, as I was pressing W to enter a water bubble my character would end up instantly looking down and also the dive button seems to disable each time you go out of water so you can't hold water while you do small jumps out and in

Also when diving upwards I have to press S, and once my character leaves the water it instantly looks backwards, which is the complete opposite of what I want since I need to jump towards where I was diving to.

it took me quite a while to understand the attacks and how they change depending if you have the water charge

I managed to get myself stuck at one point: I went inside this place and I think I died and instead of respawning at the respawn point I appeared at the start, so I jumped on the balls to get across and I suddenly spawned super high up with no way of moving, unsure if I was falling

yeah the bacon sprite can be confusing, its meant to be a single bacon item

Sometimes in webgl its completely unplayable for certain pcs, as far as I know its an unity issue, I tried to put some hacky checks to avoid this from happening but for some pcs is still like that, sorry.
It should work just fine if you download the windows version if you still want to try it out.

Click to move feels weird, I'd rather WASD in this game

The drink-making minigames feel boring, in both the ray on/off and the cauldron picking up water drops it feels like I'm waiting for the game to do something before I can continue playing

the drink themed looks are neat

First time player, lots of fun, it caught me in and i played it full and did the bonus levels.

its super cute, the different tiny interactions and expressions that they have depending on whats going going on in the game makes it great

I was expecting some sort of face expression when falling or being eaten

Using the keyboard felt a bit weird at the start, have you thought on making right click and left click replace or work at the same time for character swap and action?

I played it twice, it wasn't able to catch me. I think the pacing is slow, it took me a lot of running around to finally find combat which felt underwhelming, the only first enemies that I thought were fun and interesting were the tripod dudes who were shooting back.

I really like the theme and aesthetics, it seems beautifully crafted

Is it possible that the music feels a bit repetitive? After 30mins it seemed like I was listening to the same thing each couple seconds, although I really liked it at first, it fit the theme really well.

As a side note, I'm worried that this game seems to be made for the sega genesis and won't be able to find an audience, but that's just a worry and not a prediction.

let me know if you think I didnt give the game a fair chance and I should play further, I felt like I wanted to move on to other games

At first I thought it was kind of a boring idler but when i turned difficulty to max it became more interesting. I had issues using the movement modules, couldnt get the weapons to move how I wanted (for example starting sword in a circular motion)
The module linking seemed more interesting before playing the game, it felt a bit underwhelming when playing

Overall its kinda fun, I'm interested to see more, also grimoire is op
