this was really cool!!

Enjoyment:

I felt it was really enjoyable to read through and I loved all the concepts. The minigames were cute and relatable.

Creativity and theme:

I agree with some of the other comments that the overall gameplay/mechanics don't involve spinning to win but I do really like the idea to continue building the motivation on the wheel. Especially as an artist, this game was very relatable.

Visuals and audio:

Peak!!!! I absolutely adore all of the art and overall style of the game. The character designs, animations and minigame art was impeccable. Really great style. The audio is also really good. I liked the style of the music and sound affects a lot, and it fit the game.

Seriousness:

Aside from how serious being an artist is, this characters and story were a perfect amount of seriousness for this game jam. Overall really good game!

It's a pretty enjoyable game if you have spare time.

I don't feel like it used the spinning or randomness gimmick well.

But everything from the audio, and visuals were fantastic.

What a great story! Really loved completing this one, though I had to zoom my browser in to 175% to read (almost) everything.

I don't have much in the way of notes - this game knew exactly what it wanted to be and told the story it wanted to tell. If anything, just for the sake of the jam, it would have been nice if one of the gameplay elements involved spinning something instead of just dragging things (even just animated spinning, like how you animated the big spinning board).

But really, fantastic game that's hiding under the radar!

I also had to zoom in myself!

hihi!! thank you so much for playing! you can make the game fullscreen by pressing esc (or clicking the options menu in the bottom left of the start screen) -- we probably should have made that clearer HAHA

Developer

there is one! press escape for a menu with a fullscreen toggle... or the button in the corner on the title screen. But I'll add the itch built-in fullscreen button!

This feels a lot like a jam entry i made recently in 48h!

I really like the characters, they are surprisingly diverse and fleshed out. I see some people complaining about the long wind-up but I honestly didn't mind it. The gorgeous art throughout the game really made everything pop. I'm always up for some showman action and really enjoyed this take on it.

My only critique is that the gameplay isn't the strongest thing in this entry but imo it doesn't have to be, the minigames serve their purpose of storytelling very well and are quite polished. I liked how the drawings you rejected end up in the 3rd minigame, i wonder what happens if you pin every drawing in the second one haha

I don't have any more feedback I think, it's a great entry with great polish art, music, sfx, humor, and message. Great job you two, very impressive

This was a really touching and creative game! I like how you used the spinning wheel as a metaphor for motivation and I think a lot of the advice that you shared in this game hits really hard, especially as someone who sometimes struggles with trying to take the first step to work on something. The audio and visual style is really whimsical and charming too, though I do think maybe the resolution of the game could be a bit bigger. Overall, I really enjoyed this one!

ahhh thank you so much!! if you were talking about the screen/window size, you can make it fullscreen by using the settings menu (bottom corner on the start screen) :]

Oh I didn't notice that, my apologies. Thanks for pointing this out!
