i just liked the game

A very fun (and evil) concept turned into a very fun (and evil) game. There's nothing not to love!

Submitted

Very fun concept and the voice acted tutorial was a nice touch. Good job!

Submitted

Very silly and creative game! I love the voice over and incremental games are always a good time to play!

This is a nice resource management game. The tutorial explained everything nicely, and the game was quite fun. Good job to the team.

Submitted

The tutorial was really good! It took me a couple of tries to make some progress, but everything else felt great. Great job!

Submitted

Honestly, a very fun game had a great time playing it. Took me a second try to win but it was fun both times.

I didn't realize I could let my hamsters rest on my first playthrough 😭

I have now left a comment. :D

Amazing game!

I really like the idea of a voice acted tutorial, but I felt like it was a lot of information at once and I couldn't listen to all of it since I was trying to click around to figure out what stuff does. I also heard that some words sounded cut off or repeated? Might be a me issue. However, I don't think the tutorial has negatively affected my experience of the game since I was able to easily figure out what things do.

I had a lot of fun playing this and I like the idea of having to manage your hamsters to make power but not run out of health. I wish this game was a little bit harder and longer since I had a lot of fun playing it! The pollutinator reminds me a lot of Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb lol. I could just imagine him saying "My new invention, the pollutinator, will pollute the whole tri-state area with the power of hamsters"

This is a good game! Great job on making this in a week and great job on the voice acting!

Edit: I'm review #100! Congrats on reaching this!! Very impressive!

That was a fun and strangely addicting game! Took a few tries but was able to win it! WAs fun trying to strategize up upgrade my hamsters without losing! Solid work, Great Job!

Very fun! its a very cool concept and the visuals look great too!

Great game! I can see why it has so many ratings lol. I think it was really fun, a bit too short maybe? or like, very easy lol, but I appreciate that since it didn't too much braincells for me to be able to play it!

Really cool concept, I liked it very much, not much else to say! Maybe perhaps that the audio I think was a bit bugged? Or like some words were cutoff and some were repeated but other than that pretty fun

Finding a balance on difficulty that wasn't too hard or too easy for people was actually pretty difficult in the end. We erred on the side of easier just because its a game jam lol. The voice tutorial was added at the very last second so sadly we didn't have time to iron it out. Shows that last minute changes can be a bad idea if you don't have time to playtest it 😂. Thanks for playing!

I started playing and the mad scientist (I presume that's you lol) started explaining, which was a nice touch but wasn't even necessary, because it was quite obvious what everything did just from playing. The game is very creative and I liked it. As feedback I would say that dragging the hamsters early on felt like a drag. I think just clicking them would be better? I might be wrong though. Good work!

Developer

I'm glad you though it was easy too understand, that doesn't seem to be a common consensus lol. The feedback is nice, we do intend for you to have to manually drag the hamsters to where you want them to add a little to the difficulty of managing them. We could probably add some more to juice to the dragging itself and make it more satisfying 🤔. Thank you for playing our game!

The hamsters are so cute! The game might be a little better as a rougelike though, with the limited upgrades and ability to lose, but that is mostly a time constraint. Great game!

Developer

We are planning on expanding it into a roguelike and changing up some things to fit that better 🤗. Thanks for playing our game!

It was a fun game! It was pretty satisfying to move the hamsters back and forth, trying to optimize the power and avoid them taking damage. I think it would be nice if you could hover over the things you've bought and see what they did, because I managed to forget what some of the upgrades did. I also think a hamster with full stamina on the wheel took damage once because another hamster took damage? Maybe that was just a graphical  thing. Would be nice with some background music as well, but other than that I think it was a very cute game that seemed good balanced as well! Perfect length for a game jam game in my opinion as well

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! 100% agree we should have hover information for modules and yeah there is a bug where the animation goes off for several hamsters.. We think it they don't all actually take damage its just the animation.. We discovered this a few days in.. It doesn't always happen either

Nice game <3

Thank you for taking the time to play our game! We really appreciate it!

I  enjoyed it. It was almost like Cookie Clicker, but I think that a general store screen instead of just clicking slots would be more intuitive, and better descriptions and more feedback for your actions would help user understanding. The art was good generally but the style felt conflicting in places

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! This was our first game jam/ game we have ever made so there is definitely a lot we can (and will) improve on. Game "juice" is for sure something we need more of, and we would have given more time 🤣. We appreciate your feedback and intend to make this a full game, so stay tuned 👀 if interested!

Yooo fire game! The hamster and spritework is super cute, it was fun to hectically drag hamsters and manage stamina, and a super funny concept to be juggling these little critters lol these guys are putting in the work!! Plus rly like the machine animation in the background it looks so unhealthy loll. This game is super fun!

Developer

I'm happy you enjoyed the loop. I was definitely going for cartoonishly unhealthy with the machine lol. Thank you for playing our game!
