I really like the idea with a hostile animatronic wandering around while you must fix the pipe.
Completed it in < 2 minutes. It was kinda fun! However, it took me a while to get how to spin the wrench ._.

I know I'm late, but let me leave some notes here as well~
- there's no energy, no? felt impossible to lose as long as you keep checking in regularly
- very light on the spinning, but certainly included, all good imo
- very simple but charming art
- honestly I really don't have a lot to say about this^^;
It's finished, does the job it set out to do, solid entry^^
Absolutely fantastic! I feel I can't rate superhigh on creativity & theme due to it being FNAF-clone and not really spin-to-win-oritented. But man, the other categories are high on this one. What made FNAF great is included in here aswell. It was heart-pounding to play. I did manage to find a way to break it though, I could click the wrench and hold it and turn towards the door. The wrench would continue to turn and I was ready on the light switch as soon as he showed.
I used that tactic while also being a bit frustrated with myself for doin that because it wasn't as fun. xD But I also managed to beat it on a retry where I challenged myself to not use that kind of cheating behaviour.
Art is great, mood is nice, really enjoyed my playthroughs! Good work!
I've never played FNAF myself but this was a very fun fangame ! I think you could've made it a little bit darker to make it scarier, I was pretty stressed tho. The wrench felt agonizingly slow but that's part of the game hahaha. I really like the drawings ! The Dilly Dally Hare is still a little too cute though and I wasn't thatttt scared of it. I wanted to try speedrunning it when I saw your post assuming there was a timer in game but I realized when I beat it that... no... so I guess we'll never know now :D I still had a lot of fun though ! Great game !
I really didn't expect to find a fnaf style game with the prompt we got, but I'm surprised you managed to make it fit!! I liked the ambience from the audio and the pipe sounds, and think that the spotlight definitely added to the visuals (even if it maybe coulda been darker around the spotlight to make it scarier heheh). I also thought that it was a nice challenge to go from turning the pipe to checking the camera, to then quicky shining the light on the door if the hare was close [:
After trying to speedrun the game (from your post on a thread heheh), I realized that I could keep turning the wrench while looking at the door (which I assumed was intended since I think the wrench sound got quieter?). Abusing this unfortunately broke the immersion a little bit, and made looking at anything else than the door redundant. I'd highly suggest to take that feature out to make the gameplay feel more intense :b
I enjoyed playing the game tho, and it was a really creative way of interpreting the theme!
I couldn't figure out the controls, it'd be nice if there was some tutorial or ui to show you how to do stuff, but I like the style!
Simple but it was fun! I got one jumpscare but I learned fast :D
I admire the fact you drew the art by yourself! It's simple but effective.
P.S. I'm pretty sure you can keep turning the wrench if you press S while keeping the left click down, so it makes it a lot easier!
I found it quite enjoyable despite its simplistic game-loop. I just wish there was more to do as I feel like the minute the creature is no longer in the camera, death is inevitable, perhaps having the option to close the door with x amount seconds of cooldown or something of the sort would elevate the game me thinks.
I really liked this game! I would have never considered making a horror game with this theme, but I think it works so well! Perhaps if you want to keep developing it you could have multiple nuts that need to be aligned, with various tools - so the player can get distracted and jump scared by Dilly Dally Hare.
How peculiar! Can’t say I was expectin a defend the office style game from the prompt! :D
