What theme and how have you integrated the theme in your game?
Well the main story of the game is that you get a corrupted game on haloween night, that is...slightly more than a game. Andit aligns with fantasy as well, since the game is heavily inspired by the legend of zelda, you are literally a knight on an island trying to clear all the enemues to save a princess, i'd say that is fantasy.

Looks really cool! It's like those old retro games.
My thoughts: I couldn't finish yet because it's quite long, which is also amazing how you could make a really long game in a 1 week game jam. So cool! It's like those old retro games so it has a simple gameplay. Also, I wonder why the old man after the first dungeon did damage to me. I was expecting more fighting in the game cause like most of the gameplay is just exploring. Overall, I like the atmosphere and the music and the art but not much on the gameplay. Thank you for the experience!
Thanks! Yeah, the game is a bit too long and big, and the outside areas are very big, i admit that. The reason the enemies are only in the dungeons is that they aren't saved, so if they were in the overworld, you would be able to get more xp than you are supposed to, which does break the story progression.
As for the old man damaging - it's not supposed to happen, but it is a hint. You may or may not need to attack him for the last xp...
really reminds me of old retro games, i havent finished yet tho but the style is great!

yo so i kinda got stuck and i don't know where to go from where i am, i finished the maze with the coins but couldn't progress
If yoy are in that palm maze, try to go down at the very bottom left corner.
Really cool recreation of the old Zelda games! I didn't get to finish this though. Might continue later.
