is there an actual good ending to kids route? every time I play through his route I end up getting the ending that just says you died
There's a good ending yes, more like a true ending though. Did you select yes when Kid offered his hand?
Someone else just showed me the issue so I found it and fixed it. Go ahead and try again whenever.
