I love the art style and the UI design. The interface gives off the vibe of a roguelike deck-building game, which looks really fun. The game design document also does an excellent job of showing how the game connects to the Jam theme.
That said, I imagine balancing the cards and powers, as well as designing engaging encounters and levels, will be a significant challenge for the team. It's important that players feel in control of their progress, that their choices have meaningful consequences, and that different enemy types encourage varied strategies, rather than making the experience feel like a linear interactive novel. If the team can overcome these challenges, I think this has the potential to become a fantastic game that I'd be very excited to play in the near future!
