With space you can skip the initial story telling, also you can go on setting and change the dialogue speed for make it more faster if you are speaking about the one inside the stage
faster still takes like 15 seconds per word and you have an absolutely ridiculously loud ear destroying noise that plays when she'd typing. Both of these need a major fix immediately
I'm pretty sure you are not editing right the dialogue speed settings, you need after press the apply button. Or in case i need check the demo because on full version all work right
The current default (in level) text speed of the demo is incredibly slow. I was able to run through the entire tutorial before the first message was even close to being fully shown. Increasing the speed in the settings does work for me though.
