This game has pretty good minigames. Finished the Alien one and loved the horror atmosphere of it.
My thoughts:
1.) Sometimes, when I enter the PC, the player would face below or beside the PC, making me unable to see the entire screen.
2.) I basically did not know what's my goal until I read your answer on 'What theme and how have you integrated the theme in your game?' on this page. I thought I have to avoid corrupted games, like the Prisoner glitching out the map.
Anyways. good well-crafted games.
wow i loved your game, i really loved the pyramid game and the overall aesthetic and atmosphere was great! i also made a game on a in-game computer from the 1990s-2000s so i had to check out yours
yay, evil video games! the space quiz and its ending were great, and i really enjoyed the post-pyramid bonus. the escape game was fun as well but unfortunately both times i tried to play it at some point i just got randomly stuck somewhere in/on the platform and not a single button would let me out.
Nice game! The 3D world was atmospheric, and I enjoyed the little scare after the pyramid game. The whole concept of the different 2D games having effects on the world and progressing the game is really cool and I'm glad to get a little taste of it. The alien game was probably my favorite because, while it was fun the prison escape game was a bit buggy and I got stuck and had to restart a few times. Great job!
Trichosis is a first person game with 2d minigames. I'm not sure exactly what aesthetic the game is going for- the computer is running Windows XP (released 2001), but the minigames are all dated 1990. Additionally, a box for COD WWII (released in 2017) is present on a shelf.
The space you inhabit is well designed, incorporating multiple interactions. The pixel art in the 2d minigames is good as well, with decent items, characters, and world elements.
The "Quazzar" minigame is a short quiz, ending with a horror twist. Nice!
The "EscapePeasant" minigame was a cool concept- physics-based 2d platformer. I made it to the top of what I assume is the first level, then instantly glitched out of the world. I reloaded the game and completed it, cool ending!
The "Pyramidscape" game was less than fun, in my opinion. From what I observed it seems like you can easily end up in a loop going between doors which continues infinitely. This is compounded by items respawning each time you go through a door, leading to an unclear pathway forwards. I chose to ignore side paths because the "score" was seemingly pointless, and completed the pyramid and sphinx, which led me to the "thanks for playing the demo" screen. I assume that this is triggered by completing all three minigames.
Overall, cool concept! If completing minigames has an effect on the 3d world at some point I think that'd be cool.
Thank you for the feedback! So I didn't get to account for that possibility that people would play the pyramid game last, but after the pyramid game there is in fact an event that happens but since you'd completed the final game ur immediately pushed it to the ending, definitely gonna add a timer of sorts so it doesnt end immediately!
Had a really creepy vibe! I enjoyed the mini game where you played as the prisoner, I couldn't figure out how to start the Indiana Jones one :( really nice job!
Apologies for the lack of onboarding, Im glad you enjoyed escapen peasant!
Stretching yourself so thin by making a first person area and 3 entirely different minigames is a bold choice. Congratulations on finishing a game like that. That is hard.
Truly, but I had a great team with me, Thank you!
