I was able to reach the end! very enjoyable game. The sound effects sound a bit harsh to me, and maybe you can add some randomness in them.
I liked the mechanic.
I had some trouble remembering which button was which on the WASD keys, but it was very addictive
I love this concept! It reminds me of playing the Shawzin minigame in Warframe where you also use WASD + arrows. I had lots of fun since I enjoy rhythm games in general and I would love to play a more difficult chart. It would be great if it was better synced with the music too. Another thing to consider would be darkening the surroundings of the two lanes to help players focus better (though it's usually up to their own preference). Overall this was well polished!
Super addictive. We both made games where it speeds up with music and gets chaotic, nice!
I have one note on my experience-- just personal opinion, not docking points at all --I think in games where you are using WASD, it can help to have directional indicators on them, otherwise I have to do a mental mapping of "ok, D, D is on the right, index finger, press." That might just be me :)
The aesthetics are so cute and well coordinated with eachother and the music and sfx all work together really nice. Controls felt tight once I got the hang of them. I got to 45 and it definitely got out of hand XD
Really nice game! The factory theme looks clean, and I liked the little details like the tutorial arrows and operator, they make it easy to understand quickly. The two-lane rhythm/reaction gameplay is a fun idea too, especially using both WASD and arrow keys, and it gets pretty tense when the machine starts speeding up. Maybe the timing could feel a bit more synced to the beat, but overall it’s a very fun and polished jam entry. Nice work!
Also, if you have time, I’d be really grateful if you could rate my Mini Jam game too: /jam/mini-jam-214-machines/rate/4750260
This looks great and I had a lot of fun playing it! Good job
Really polished for a first jam entry — the two-lane reaction loop is instantly readable and the factory presentation (UI, tutorial arrows, the little operator) is clean and cohesive. The "machine speeding up until it's out of hand" reading fits the limitation nicely. It got genuinely tense chasing the target score. Nice one!
Thank you so much!
You're a star! Really cool concept, art, and idea! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much, will try my best! Will check out pink cap asap
i like the concept! using WASD and ARROWS together for a rhythm game is unique!, maybe its just cuz i dont actually play that many rhythm games or games of this particular style, though i dont think the blocks actually like fit with the rhythm that much, like the charting is off....., and i dont think the art assets mesh well together, but other than that, pretty fun game!
Thank you for your compliments!
Yes I agree with the music desynchronization and art. Both of those are my major weak points, I'll try my best to fix them going forward. I was thinking of not adding any music but I thought something would be better than nothing
Appreciate your comment, will check out your entry asap
Nice Game was fun. However the art assets don't really fit together.
A very pleasant game. Beautiful pixel art and pleasant sounds. I'm also using Godot and LibreSprite for the poster in my game!
