Hey, very good game. It’s so polished and it feels like this isn’t even made in a gamejam (take this as a compliment). Overal just such a great game!

Very well made. It felt very nicely polished for a game done in only 24hrs. I'm very impressed with how you scoped the game and seemed to know exactly where to put your time :)

THIS GAME IS CRAZY AND 24 HRS?!?!?!?! HOLY!!!!! This is so cinematic in a retro style! The web version is buggy tho (crashed the whole page) but thats ok XD THE ATMOSPHERE IS ABSOLUTE CINEMA!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Hey this is the developer of Holy Moly, one of the games you played on stream last night! I just played through your game all the way, and to be honest it was CRAZY! I loved the map design alongside the pixelated graphics, I can't believe this was done in only 24 hours, you guys are truly talented. Also loved the secret ending (no spoilers)😁.

It looks massive and epic, judging by the screenshots, but unfortunately, I couldn't launch it in the browser (and now my computer is on Linux and I haven't figured out how to install Windows versions of games yet)!

The game's atmosphere, lighting and cutscenes makes it look good. Exploring the theatre was really fun.

My opinion:
1.) Would have been better if there were sounds being used reflecting to what the narrator was saying (like the narrator said someone was crying but I didn't hear anything). Also, the game loop is: get the film, run towards the booth, spam spacebar then watch the film, which was good that the film was different every time but the gameplay was repetitive and I was kinda hoping for a jumpscare or something similar (the first time the film was playing, I didn't think of the idea of watching the film until I saw a window)

That's just my opinion. And yeah, it was a cinematic experience.

Thanks so so much for your comment!! I made the game in 24 hours, and was pretty dead by the last few, so I'm happy with the expanded system I now have for my next games. You're right, and I should have put a jump scare just as you collect the 6th reel, would have been that good ending scare for sure!! I did think about it, and I'll make sure to not second guess my endings, hahah!! You rock for spending time on my game, thanks for your nice comment and input, was great streaming with you!! See you again soon

The atmosphere of the game was very cinematic, and making it feel like an old retro N64 game was very cool!

WOAHHH! what a nice surprise of a comment. Thanks SO much for spending time on my game, and It's nice to know we like the same styles!! Can't wait to play Holy Moly!!! thanks again

The cinematic cutscenes for a cinema game were a surprise. The reels that were then mostly still images were a tiny bit disappointing after you got my hopes up. When you come out of the right entrance the arcade's dark shadow looks like a person. Also, the men only get urinals that was funny.

A technical tip, don't put a quit button in a web game. It just frezzes the game and forces the player to reload the page. In Godot you can automatically delete the button by checking the result of OS.get_name()

Loved the retro look! It was hard understanding what i had to do and what the objective was, but it did feel cool walking around the building, great job!

YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Such a nice comment and I DIDNT even have the videos/6 reels in the game!! Thanks goodness for the 2-day bug fix period.

The new update v1.4 NOW HAS THE VIDEOS!!! (I didnt realize for web build .ogg is seen as audio only/doesnt even play and needs to have a .ogv extension!) Thanks SO MUCH for play what you did, and I hope you get to play more and actually finish the game 😅 please submit your game to my livestream in the community page for this jam if you're interested in me playing yours with you live!
