I wish there were descriptions for the powers. It’s hard to know what each color does. Also game feels too easy for me, I didn’t break my shield until I totally stopped playing. But the game seems nice. I like watching the colors and spraying bullets everywhere.
Polished and uses the theme well, and fairly fun but it feels actively hard to lose which makes it less fun
Also it could be more obvious how the perks work, maybe with some text that shows on screen when you get one
Yeah, balancing is an issue, was hard to figure out a solution
great idea, maybe if i update it someday
there is like 4 perks (technically 6 but 1 just gives a score, the other a bigger amount of score):
- blue grants shield
- purple grants an extra hex to shoot (yes the bullets are called hexes :P )
- orange grants frenzy (no fire rate for 5 seconds)
- green grants an extra fire point
Yeah, the six sides is the most fun, it can get addicting when you get them (or atleast for me, i would sometimes just play and forget to work on the game)
you probably had frenzy, if you merge with an orange circle, you can ignore firerate for 5 seconds
the sound effects were made using rfxgen, made also by raysan, recommend it if u need a sfx sound generator
yeah balancing is an issue, everyone complained about, in development i would either make the game super easy or super hard, maybe i should have checked more balancing ways (i just thought of a wave system, that would have been nice)
I like your choice of music. And the fact that once I'm pass this score I'm basically a God
