The art style is very unique here nothing I ever seen before! Good luck on the jam and thanks for the experience!

Great Katamari Damacy-like game! It's always fun to see the ball growing and growing.
A few more items or a faster character could have made the game even more addictive. Great job!

Gamplay caught me off guard.

The game was simple, yet surprisingly fun and addicting. The pixel graphics suited the game, but the music got repetitive very quickly and I don't think there was any sound effects.

Anyway, still a good game, and I enjoyed it!

Omg yes i forgot about the sound effects, and I'm a horrible musician. Glad you liked it :)

I was surprised at how much it just kept on zooming out! Very fun to just roll around and push buttons, awesome job.

Developer

Hey yeah you got a very similar mechanic as well! And your 3d effect with the things rolling looked great, how did you do that?

Funny enough, all the things that attach to you don't actually calculate anything for their animations. Each object just has a set of frames showing it at different angles, and they play that animation at roughly the same speed as the ball's speed, but it's not exact, just "close enough" to give the right impression haha! As for making them actually move in a ball, they just attach to a unity gameobject that's rotating on its x axis and to keep that relative angular distance, with some code to make sure their sprite always faces the camera so they don't distort.

Such a funny idea haha, very similar to Katamari Damacy! Love the 3d pixel aesthetics but it did get a lil repetitive bc theres only a few stuff to collect. Overall cool game!

Yeah got a little bit tight at the end especially cause i hate doing artwork, and yeah it is very heavily inspired by katamari :) , thanks for the comment !
