like largenumbergoesher I also did a 2048 game.  I liked the uniqueness of your approach.  Great job! I like the mouse controls!

The concept is unique, but without a proper description on mechanics it is getting really hard to play. Using the WEDXZA keys for controls is a very clever use of the hex theme. Good job!

Cool reimagination of 2048, I can see myself playing this on dead times!

This is a cool take, feels pretty unique!

I like it but sometimes I had three of the same tile next to each other and it still wouldn't merge.  Am I missing something?

Developer

If a tile just appeared, it won’t merge until moved.

I am happy that the rules are different than regular 2048, to make things unique. But this is hard for me, it hurts my head! I only got to 81.

My submission was a similar idea and we took completely different takes on it. I really like the extra tweaks in your one. Merging neighboring triplets  feels more unique and fitting of the "hex" theme. It was rewarding to figure that out :3

Oh yeah, also I'd like to see your source code to compare implementation approaches, let me know if you're comfortable with that. I personally have my code spaghetti linked on my game page.
