The notepad was awesome! really liked the idea in general, though I guess at some point I might not have time to question all the people in town. Also, what do you mean rangers are the bad guys :D? I always thought they were good.
The artstyle took some getting used to, but it has its charm. Remninded me a bit of EGA style graphics, really :D
Honestly, this could turn into a really fun game with a bit more time and polish. The basics are already solid.
What a freakin' cool game! Generating new deduction puzzles each game is a great feat for a jam. I think this might be my favourite game so far for the theme, literal point-and-clicking and "clicking" into figuring out the solution. I'll definitely be coming back to it when I have more time to play a couple rounds!
I know some of the visual choices were made for a time consideration, but I found them kind of charming and reminiscent of those older point-and-click games. Even in a polished version I wouldn't stray too far from this kind of dithered gradients and rustic pixel art look.
Very good deduction game, I liked the notepad’s varied icons to more easily write “stagecoach” .
The writing on the pad definitely adds to the difficulty, I had to make some shorthand formulas to keep track of what was going on.
Love this. Great use of the theme making it a detective game. I personally really enjoyed the aesthetic. My only issue is that I don't think there is always a better option. I'm fairly certain that my first game both options were low value and guarded. Maybe I misnoted something but I even so, considering it's a jam I think this was very enjoyable and well polished.
The note pad was a fun feature and the stamps. The gang was not happy with me.
Well hello Sir, I see you got some Point and Click like advanture with a notepad and all. Well done! I honestly don't like the visuals, neither UI nor Gameplay - but I think as a Prototype with some more time for the art assets this Game could have potential! Even if its just part of a bigger Game, this is a solid entry! I had some fun taking notes and was wondering how you did that!
Nice work!
