I loved everything about this, and I could feel the passion put into it! The setting, characters (Lullaby best boi), music, art style, and just EVERYTHING are all so freaking amazing! I had to stop at Beelzubub, but I want to see more of this absolutely. Amazing work!

Thank you for taking the time to play the game and to rate it! I really means so much to us. Your words are extremely kind. We're hoping that Toasty plays our game so you can see what we have~ Among all the wonderful submissions in the jam, it's gonna be stiff competition though! Thank you again ♡

Loved loved loved it! I did have the game crash on me 3 times. in battles if i took to long to decide what to do or if I took to long reading dialog seemed to be what caused it but I am not sure. I didn't get an error the game just closed but the pacing was good and I was always close to my last save.

I loved the juke box mechanic and unlocking songs to listen too.

I loved the skeletons.

I love the story and even the unveilance of what happened I thought was well placed.

Battles were strategic and fun. the 3rd boss on my first attempt locked me and killed everyone first turn but that didn't happen in my follow up attempt so I guess that was an anomaly.

I really wanted to keep playing. It went so far I started to believe I was going to make it to the end.

Very good.  I hope more people play your game!

Goodness, we're incredibly sorry that the game kept crashing! We had noticed after we uploaded it that others had experienced the same problem, though we can't patch it up until after the jam. That being said, we're extremely honoured that you pushed through to the end of what we had. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the last two bosses (6 days is not enough, man) but will be uploading the rest of the game at a later time. Thank you for the kind review! And we're so glad you liked it!

That's a good suggestion! Thank you for giving our game a chance regardless! If you ever need any good game strats, I know the guy who programmed the fights and could give a few pointers ;) And thank you for the review!

This game is insane. How the HECK did you make it in a week? Azzy is bae and Mammon freaking murdered me dead. I'll go back and continue playing later because this was SO SO SO GOOD, holy moly! Also, the writing is so fun.

Developer

Thank you so, so much! That's such a huge compliment coming from you! And we're happy to hear that you liked Azzy too, haha. They're definitely one of our favorites!

Your comment really made our day!! Thank you again! ^^

By far the best game in this jam I've played so far and probably will play. At first, I thought this was going to be a demo with the end having you fight the first lord, but after beating Mammon, I'm under the assumption that the game might be complete, which I really like, not only that there's a lot of content, but boss rushes (which I really like) doesn't happen often in games.

Beelzebub was a difficult match (and his status effects did feel cheap at times) but despite losing to him four times I continued to come back every time until I beat him. The characterization is also done very well, not only with Dante which is done very well in the hour I played, but also the bosses themselves have very unique characters in terms of their design and dialogue.  This uniqueness makes you want to beat the one you're on to see the next one.

The three main things that all game developers rarely do well in at the same time are characters, plot, and gameplay, and yet this game did just that. 9.8/10

Wow! Thank you SO much for such a kind review! We're thrilled you liked our game, and we're excited to check out yours as well!

The game IS nearly complete! We ran out of time on the last 2 bosses, but we made sure to leave it off at, what we believe, to be a satisfying stopping point. Your review absolutely made our day! Thank you, again!

I played up until beelzebub but didn't beat him. The game is pretty hard but still beatable, but my game did randomly crash during the beelzebub fight which caused me to stop playing. Overall though I liked the art and gameplay, and the music was pretty decent too.

Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to write a review!

Oh shoot! That did happen one time in playtesting, but we can't discern what the issue is. We'll investigate and then patch it after the jam has concluded! We're so glad you liked the game overall though! And if anyone needs dev strats to beat the bosses, ol' Toad Wart has the insider scoop. ;) Beelz is definitely one of the harder bosses though! 😬
