Very cool concept, but I wasn't really sure what the different colored tiles mean and why soem of them kill my units. I played for a bit and got to wave 4, it was fun! Good game!

Interesting project. Great game!

Interesting idea, and the terrain looks cool. I feel that if you add some background music, it would feel more amazing for longer play.

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Yes, I didn’t find good music in the end, sounds in general, and was just falling back on some stands I had on my drive ^^’ The usual GameJam problems :) But for a future version.

Looks very cool, but I was not sure why my crew died, I thought I upgraded them enough.

I loved the overall look, the graphics and gamefeel. Controls are a bit funky (it takes a couple minutes to getting used to stopping and moving the units) but it is so cool!

I really, really like the look of this game. But apparently I’m just too clumsy or daft for it. I just can’t seem to get past Wave 2 🤪

This is so cool! At first I was expecting it to be like Darwinia, but it's got a unique thing going on that's really interesting.

Developer(+1)

Thanks very much. Darwinia was definitely a core inspiration for quite some time and this GameJam just gave me the opportunity to try something :)

This is was fun and the terrain is looks amazing. I need to learn how to make terrain like that.

Thanks a lot anaander ^^. Look for perlinNoise and similar noise-algos, and the rest is basically tilemapping. I use an Ascii actually with perlinNoise randomness. And the “rest” is building the wireframe.
