This is pretty cool, but I got kinda confused, still a really fun idea!

As promised I played your game! There were things I liked and those didn't.

The robotic voice scared the hell out of me and every time I died I had to go through the intro again and listen to it. So I really locked in and tried not to die 😂 I managed to clear the game and throw the pipe bomb in on my 3rd try.
The gameplay mechanic was very pleasant and simple. I can see room for more development and improvement here and this could be a very cool game if polished and extended!

Did you make the pixel art assets yourself, if so I really like how simple but on theme they are, and it's very clear visually what the player has to do. However it doesn't present anything new that I haven't seen before.

No bugs blocking my progress encountered!

There are a lot of menus, like skill, status, formation, which don't do anything and confused me.
A fun short game on theme, but it didn't stand out to me. Except for that voice which will haunt me in my dreams haha. Thanks for taking your time to make it!

Developer

thanks a lot, yes i did the pixel art myself. as for the menu its because i didnt modified the menu from the base rpgm mz, i just added key equipment and item for lore but arent used (except for the ending, where it check if you have the bodybag or the pipebomb to give you the ending choice)

Interesting gameplay. Is there more than one ending? If so, I think I got the bad ending haha.

Developer(+1)

there is two endings, you need to find old bill pipebomb in the second level (the one with acid puddles), it is in the top right corner not far from the start of said level.

Nice project, perfect for a jam. I keep losing :(

Developer

sorry xd, i hope i didnt failed the balance, its hard to properly test this when you know the way to the end of the level etc. one thing you can try is to use the echolocation to lure them away, then go back to where you must mine

Fun little experience! The enemy design and atmosphere is great! A bit hard to grasp the mechanics at first but once I got the hang of it, I managed to FEED THE PIT!

Developer(+1)

yeah for the mining i should have probably made it to hold space to rock rather than hitting the rock 3 times xd, i think it would have made it better, since, for gameplay fairness i made it so the spider only go hunt you when it collapse on the third hit, which is a bit uninstinctive, people would expect them to chase every hit since they react to those sound
