I do not know to which games you are referring to.

Games where you can chose to play as a dwarf or elf? Bascially all games where you can customize your character in a fantasy setting. If there is more than human as a choice, you can select elves, dwarves and often other exotic types. And if the world has dwarves, it is rather bound to also have elves. They represent a trope of opposing extremes. Woodland dwellers, slender and noble vs. underground dwellers, stout and grumpy. Also very popular is the half-elf. But no half-dwarves are known to me.

But here you go. The Dragon Age games. Anything even remotely connected to Dungeons & Dragons, like Baldur's Gate 3. Any Elder Scrolls game. Any Warhammer game will have elves, dwarves or both, but not necessarily as a playable character, like you can play 5 different characters in Vermintide, one is an Elf and one is a Dwarf. But the game is not about elves. Or about dwarves.

A more obscure game would be something like Thea2. You can have Elves as your playable hero and followers. And that game is not even connected to the Tolkien influenced Elf lore, but to eastern europe myhts. It's just that Elves are ubiquitous in the fantasy genre - just like dwarves.

But those games are usually not about a society or play in a society of a made up people. Being an elf, or a human, is often just an informed quality of the player avatar and maybe some flavor in some situations or a bonus to player stats. Oh, and yeah, Elves are very powerful in that Thea game.

And because Elves are so ubiquitous, your statements about not remembering any Elves in the gaming industry for as long as you can remember is so ludicrous. But I forgot, you said games on them. Whatever that means.

You do not even specify the type of game. There is a bit of a difference between Vermintide, Baldurs Gate, Thea 2 and some fantasy visual novel playing in an elven forest.

i'm talking about indie games centered fully on elves, you have so many of those on dwarves, vampires, goblins,... But name me one game fully centered on elves

Name me games fully centered on dwarves. Not dwarves as the heros, but about being dwarven in a dwarven society. Not a mining simulator that used dwarves for fluff.

there are hundreds, you can easily find these yourself. However i'd like you to find what i asked of you because I am certain you won't be able to do it

If there are hundreds, where is the problem to name a few?

The point I am trying to make, and that you avoid is this: you will not see games with a non human living in that non human society a lot.

What you usually have is, having a non human venturing out and have adventures outside of that non human society. So expecting a game "fully" "centered on" <species> is a very high hurdle.

I was curious, if all the dwarven games you complain about can take that hurdle you demand of elven games.

i highly doubt you didn't see all of those, i constantly see tons of dwarven games without ever looking out for them. Well the games on dwarves are usually simple and easy games about mining or things like that, I think they chose dwarves out of ease so they are not going to create whole societies or cultures for their games, but usually those games are fully centered on dwarves with no other  races
