Nice.
I cleared five levels, and the game feels really smooth! I'm curious about the maze generation algorithm and how the enemies move—it looks great, and I'd love to build something similar myself, haha.
Thanks, the maze generation and pathfinding were my two favorite parts!
If you're on the Discord Server, find me and I can give you all the deets about how they work.
Actually, I just put the explanation on the game page, cause then I can find it in the future if I need it!
That sounds great! Thank you for sharing the details!
Im pretty confused about how the game works. I got him to the bottom of the screen and then he disappeared? Im not sure if he continued and there was more parts to the labyrinth or something but my camera was stuck there and I didnt know how to get the guy back on my screen. If you can help me, please reply bc it looked fun i really wanna try it again!
Ooh man, thanks for your comment! It helped me figure out why some people were confused. And I double checked the camera and everything!
You are controlling the little blue circle thing, not the skeleton. The skeleton patrols back and forth, but is more like the antagonist. Its his labyrinth that you are snooping in.
You're not the only one and this is a communication problem from the game.
I am confused but it was fun
It's good but you didn't find time to complete your idea
I guess but awesome game maybe try to develop it better and fix those touchs after the jam ends also a problem appeared which made the dungon little bit to the corner so only 60% of the dungon is shown the rest is outside the screen there is no full screen mode I really couldn't complete it but good try :)
The camera moves with the player. The player isn't the skeleton, it's the blue circle that spins or moves forward as you hit the spacebar.
Thanks for your comment and playing. This helps clear up why some players were confused.
The game is actually complete and operating as it ought to, it's just missing clear instructions to the player.
Such a unique concept! I had no idea what I was doing, but had a lot of fun doing it 😅
I am assuming the levels are randomly generated, and if so it is really well done. Once I figured out how to loop the doors open and fire on or off I was ready to tackle multiple levels. The skeleton is quite fearsome, if I ever found myself on their path I found myself always freezing up. Good job on the game!
