Submission Description
1. Fight and Mecha
Battle music for fighting with mechs and boss theme. I kept it melodic because mechs are usually controlled by a human.
2. Invasion and Terror
Battle music for fighting with cyborgs and boss theme. Dissonance represents their robotic aspect.
3. Above It and There
Villain theme and boss fight theme.
After a war made Earth inhospitable, humans moved to Mars for a better life. An early refugee from the war seizes a dome on Mars and begins constructing advanced machinery again, believing the Cyborg war only happened because the ones in control of this technology were incompetent. Others believe it will lead to a similar war on Mars, so the main character, a cyborg as well, is tasked with infiltrating the dome and stopping the Engineer.
P.S.: I don't have screenshots of two projects there because I forgot to make them and my FL Studio is trial version so I can't open the projects again. If required, I could attach the .flp files instead.

I like the story behind your game. The music does totally fit the theme too. Good work here. It is just really rough, epically those strings in Above it. You did a good job on the drums and guitar. But perhaps they could use a little touch less reverb and eq. A lot of your notes sound really rough, which could have been the style you were going for. There was your best song by far.
Hi. Thank you for your analysis. Did you mean "like reverb" or "less reverb"?
It's been a great experience listening to your soundtrack. It's a good job.

I love the main melody on Fight and Mecha, you got something there that really shines, and invasion, terror and there... oh my lord!!! I love the metal guitars, and you do a great job with them. As a suggestion, I'd say that if you added a bit more detail to their treatment, you could achieve guitars with more body and roundness that would sound absolutely brutal. Although, it's also true that with the overall tone of the songs, they might feel a bit out of place. But wow! It would be a real highlight!!!!! Well done!!!
i listened to the entire thing a few days ago but am commenting now. i'm a big fan of the more rock oriented songs. the album does show your range in terms of genre and instrumentation.
a couple things i'd like to point out are:
- the mix. if i'm being honest some songs such as Mecha could use eq adjustment in the guitars.
- would have loved to hear additional instrumentation or fx in the songs (e.g. Fight, among others)
- i appreciate the story context, would enjoy hearing more of the music that somehow illustrates your world in such a way that it is either obvious or undeniable to the audience
still, the ost is rather consistent and makes a cohesive listening experience
Hi, thanks for your feedback For the guitar adjustments in Mecha, do you mean the lead guitar? I think I played with the phaser pedal too much on that one... I would love to add some additional instrumentation, I will probably remake this project once I buy FL
