Sounds baroque enough, felt quite short. I assume it makes it very comfortable for game developers to use, which is a great consideration, but seeing "baroque-inspired" (and a 240mb file) I expected a collection of 10-minute fugues (before I noticed that there are also the WAVs). There is another comment here suggesting a greater variety of instruments, but I personally saw it as an intentional move (am I correct?) to make transitions between pieces in a game more flexible (although it does make it feel like this collection is location(or character)-specific in the context of a game because of the quite specific style and theme combination). The somewhat less known (for now) brother of Johann Bach, John Math.
Very memorable melodies, great variations of the Electrognosys motif in Apsychoctonos and Against Noomecha. I was planning to listen to this yesterday, but only got to Electrognosys, and its melody was still stuck in me today, I think that says something. Among the submissions I've already rated, yours excels in using leitmotifs. I also found the addition of human voice to City of Iron and its overall fuller feel (in contrast to Sideropolis) very symbolic, great project.
Great production, good bass and low mids, I'd usually expect killed mids in heavier genres, but you've got good balance. Distortion and that sampled scream in LULA'S REVENGE complement the theme of revenge. I thought the sound in LULA'S REVENGE at 0:40 were heavily modified real guitars, but on the screenshot, it seems like a MIDI instrument, although I'd like to clarify. VELA'S RING sounds more melodic and hopeful than the other tracks, so I wonder what scene or idea was behind it (maybe approaching the final goal? Considering the bells, it feels like it foretells some sort of judgement). I assume 9i (COMBAT ENHANCING DRUG) is a transition sound effect or is supposed to play between some two scenes or at the end of a scene, and the sudden stopping of the kick drum makes me think that it is a part of a death scene (a stopped heartbeat). It's also quite short, so it'd be interesting to hear more to connect the music with the story
Great use of dissonance, very suppressing atmosphere in Calculando and Loaded. Plug Out is quite groovy, especially right after Loading. The cello ostinato (such a human instrument it is) expressively contrasts with the tempo shifts and the rest of the instrumentation in Neo Humans, I did something similar in my own submission with cellos in 11/16 alongside a dist guitar. Maybe cliche, maybe not, it communicates the implied idea well. So far, this is the most thematic submission I've listened to in this jam.
