ghost woman was included. (also wow you guys submitted that by the skin of your teeth huh)
this was a really cool puzzle game, and the focus on the combat was a neat surprise. having to spam the recharge skill was a bit exhausting (4 NRG probably would've been preferable, with maybe the earlier enemies doing a bit more damage), but besides that the flow of the skills was pretty interesting. the fact that it's an hour is also kind of crazy, i think i had to double check my save time after reading that off. huge props there.
the atmosphere is pretty stunning too, with all the fog and stuff really selling the emptiness of it all. the song at the climbing area was surprisingly good as well. that song get me recharging my saw gun while crying about my wife for two turns! with that said, i unfortunately found those bigger maps confusing, with the next objective not being entirely clear. the switch that activates a certain station comes to mind, and a few of that area's puzzles in general, but those were probably my fault honestly. i also wish the earlier game spooks were maintained throughout the rest of the game (aforementioned ghost woman popping up for a few frames comes to mind, that one was really good), but the brief horror moments are still cool.
something that did stump me was the keypad code inscribed on the tileset, as the parallax makes it pretty easy to miss in that room. i assumed that i accidentally broke something, and reloaded that section a few times before finally catching it. a more clear hint could probably be included there, as it's a pretty believable part of the game to have a glitch in it, if you get what i mean.
anyways, sweet game. curious to see how you guys top it next time. that man definitely deserves a vacation with the way he was moving down there. what a champ.
