I had a bit of a hard time getting through some of the level, but I really loved the retro atmosphere. Great work!
That start is diabolical! Cute music, and that clanker pup is a lil guy. Managed 30 points after like 50 attempts haha
i reallly wanted to complete your game but i simply cannot get past the first part, idk if its something on my end but WASD doesnt seem to be working nor does the dash work, arrow keys work but without dash im unable to get past the dog. Seems to be a fun lil game!
Same with the previous comment, update me when the bug is fixed. I like pico8 games.
It wasn't a bug, also there is a guide in the description on the game page, so please read it and practice for some time to get the gist of it. It's like denouement from gd, the beginning is brutal but the rest is easy.
Okay, I got it! Made my score 33. So I just need to wait for the dog to approach me enough to lure him and get away. Nice game, you could add maybe a tutorial or maybe an easier round for the player to get into it.

The dog enemy just moves way too fast! Might just be skill issue on my end. Cool game nonetheless.
