I really like the idea here!  Especially for a first jam game, I think the vision is really cool, and I also love that things are procedurally generated!  I played through 5 times and enjoyed the variation I saw on each run.  I agree with the other comments about the freezing being a little frustrating (especially with no way to restart once frozen).  That kind of instant unavoidable death is something I would probably suggest not including in future games.  It especially stands out because the other effects I got were pretty cool (I really liked the bomb one!).

A couple of other things I might suggest:

  • It would be nice to get more feedback when I'm getting hurt, and when I'm hurting the enemies.  A sound effect, flashing their color briefly, screen shake, and/or some other kind of feedback would really add to the feel.
  • The music loop is nice, but with a loop that short, it starts to get repetitive the longer you play.

All-in-all, though, I thought this was a really nice jam entry, especially for a first game.  Keep at it!  Hopefully we'll see more from you in the future :)

Thank you for your feedback. I tried to indicate that the player got hit by camera shake by my script didnt work and jam was going to end fast. Therefore I decided that it would be better if I checked if there arent any issues in exporting.

When it comes to music then Ill try to make a longer loop next time.

And I know that freeze wasnt a good idea. So I wont add it next time or I try to change its mechanic so it wont be frustrating.

I hope my comment didn't come across as too negative; there's genuinely a lot to like here, and a solid foundation to build on for future projects.  I hope you keep making games! :)
