What you need to do is keep destroying eggs until you get a blue access card. That will get you into the room with the exit.

I destroyed every egg and the only access card that I found was the red one (in the room with shotgun).

That’s not cool. Once you’ve destroyed all 24 eggs a blue access card is supposed to appear. Any chance you can send the save game files to me at bwldrbst at gmail.com ? Or, log it as an issue at https://github.com/adkennan/Ecliptic_public.

Oh, you meant that ALL eggs must be destroyed. I was doing something else: I tried to destroy few eggs and checked if card is beneath any of them. Then I reloaded my saved game and tried to destroy few other eggs. I thought that blue card is hidden under one of the egg, like the shotgun and red card.

Destroying all eggs is quite hard task, especially when most of my attack are missed.

I'm in the room with the queen. I've destroyed her "tail" but rest of queen's body seems to be indestructible - all my attacks with laser, shotgun or knife are missed. Are granades or explosives necessary to kill the queen? I used them up earlier.

You don’t need explosives, regular weapons will do. She’s just very tough.

I killed the queen but lift door is still locked and I can't go to the exit.  Maybe it is another bug or maybe I missed something.

I think that it is time to say "enough" and stop playing.  Game can be hard but should be enjoyable too.  Ecliptic is just hard.  Player is overwhelmed by the number of enemies, weapons are weak, attacks are mostly missed, riddles are weird, there are red herrings (access card for room with nothing interesting inside).

That’s annoying - killing the queen should unlock the door.

Thanks for putting in the effort, I’m sorry it hasn’t really worked for you. To be honest, I was never totally convinced the game would work for other people to play and it was always more of a personal art project.

This is my first attempt to actually see a game idea through to completion, maybe the next one will be more appealing…

Well, it was a bug preventing the door from unlocking. I’ve published an update to correct it.
