Calling it Scale the Mountain.  It's a simple, casual 3d game.

I'm aiming for the mouse only bonus challenge.  There's not enough time to add co-op.  No way am I sticking to a single pack, when there are so many great, free asset packs to choose from.  No text doesn't work for my game.  No significant symmetry.

Main issue I faced was due to using an orthogonal camera.  Fixed it by seeing what other people do.  Some of this info is buried in github comments.  Wish there were more 3d tutorials for godot.

Would be real nice if I could add object animations, such as trees swaying, being chopped, or lava/water flowing, etc.  Don't really have the time to find shaders for that level of polish though.

Let me know what you think and post your screens!

Nice game

Yours looks great! I'm not sure I'm going to get there... thanks to my schedule/timezone I got quite a late start. I've got some of the mechanics I want working in a little demo, though, and I'm learning new things about 3D.

(I hadn't planned to do a 3D game, and that's even sillier because I started late! But the assets that fit my idea best were 3D, so I decided that this way I'll learn some things whether I finish something to submit or not!)

That looks good.  I like how you made a pair of scales out of a space pack asset.

If the game play is already working, you should be able to finish on time.  Just keep your scope small.

I just played yours. That was a lot of fun. Nice work!

I was very surprised by how much of a game I was able to make within the time limit. My to-do list was a mile long at the end, but I think I got there. Thanks for the encouragement.

Um, yeah, don't judge me, I'm a complete first-timer, I'm making something extremely basic, using GDevelop. I know it won't win, and that it will be unpolished, but I will try my best.

I had never heard of GDevelop before. How are you liking it?

Yeah, it's good, especially for a beginner like me. You don't even need to code anything.

Got the 1-bit pack working again :) Going on about 4 hours of sleep.

:D thank you! I hope it's not to much for people, it's pretty crazy looking in motion.

I am builiding non-euclidean platformer with lots of scaled objects...

We're calling it "Not 2 Scale" it's an action puzzle game where you have not only a normal gun to fight enemies, but also a volumizer gun which allows you to change the size of objects. If you like games like Portal or The Turing Test, you should give it a try!
