Good entry. The shooting and movement feel good and the enemy patterns are interesting. I just wished there was a bit more of a power spike to it.

Nice game, I like the graphics and the evasion mechanic(adds a twist),to make it more satisfying,u could add screen shake. good job

I am a huge fan of Galaga so I was excited to try this one, and I thought it was great! The whole vibe matched what I think of as 'retro' really well and I played it a bunch of times :) The enemies started out a bit spongy and with the difficulty scaling, later on I was having a really hard time tracking single enemies long enough to kill them with all the bullets on screen, especially when I didn't have any powerups. I think having some more enemy variety with some weaker enemies and a few spongier enemies could make this game feel a lot better. I was also a little frustrated with how the shots from my ship kept changing sides, and since I was mostly looking downfield at the enemies it felt inconsistent to line up my shots.

Good work, I liked all the additions to the standard Galaga gameplay to make it feel fresh! My highscore is 6910 :)

Got a score of 2670. I think this is fun and really well polished. Sometimes the enemy hitboxes didn't work but other than that it was great. From one galaga clone to another, very well done!

Nice submission! It was a bit hard to aim, but I think that was consistent with the jam's theme. 😄

Fun game! Certainly felt retro, ran smooth, solid art and sound.

One small suggestion would be to make the bullets harder to evade. Maybe increase their speed a bit, or have them fired at your position, idk. I just felt like the dodge mechanic is a great idea but I didn't find myself needing it very often. But that's all I could think of, really great game!

This was a very fun game! I loved the evasion mechanic I think it adds a kick compared to classic space shooters.

Really great all around, No bugs/issues I had overall great game

A faithful recreation of the classic shmup genre. The added Evasion button is a potential nice extra touch. My one issue is the height of the game screen matches my screen height, so I would have preferred the game screen to either be slightly smaller, or go into fullscreen.
