I genuinely have never enjoyed a side scrolling beat 'em up before this. This was actually extremely fun and entertaining. Fantastic craftsmanship and character! The final boss got me in the end.

Really great entry. Visuals and audio are both solid and controls are tight. I think it could be a good idea to put some sort of visualization on the character in some way for his ammo when its not full. I understand you used assets, so perhaps just a little counter that appears above his head once he starts firing to show how many shots he has remaining. Very fun entry!
thank you I appreciate it. I totally agree about the auto fire and I think a transition would definitely go a long way. I did actually think about adding a transition at one point but given my skill level this was already big crunch time for me so I had to sacrifice that. I will definitely practice allotting time more properly for qol in the future.
I absolutely love this. The visuals are top notch basically what I would expect from a finished sellable product of this kind of thing. The gameplay is also really really solid. It is very satisfying. I think I got sort of close to beating it but I kind of lost count of the resets. If I had one thing to change it may just be the length. It is otherwise really fun and definitely one of my favorite entries on here that I've played so far! Especially for a solo dev I think this is really impressive.
lol thank you. I originally had the game much harder as I’m a bit seasoned on the bullet hell genre myself, but it seemed especially unwise for a game jam. I’m glad you liked it though. As for the looping I just had them as children on looping pathfollow2d nodes and it wouldnt send out the next wave/horde until it got a number of dead enemy signals equivalent to the size of the wave/horde
thank you Mr. Mario I’m glad you liked it. I agree with what you told our friend about the wheel section needing some way to convey progress like a progress bar. Great idea and wouldn’t be hard to implement. Since it’s a game jam I think I have to keep it as this version at least until the voting is over, but I may add that when all is said and done.
