you know, i've been fighting an urge to respond: but my novel isn't erotica tho. I think it's an instinct born out of still unearthing weird puritanical prejudice in my brain, and not helpful.
and while my book is mostly not about sex, it does have three pretty detailed sex scenes, and I think all three are really hot.
i guess what i'm saying is, i wrote an erotic book, thank you for helping me call it that :)
whatever you wanna call your work, that is all good by me! This kind of stuff can take years to unpack and yeah, some stories are allowed just to have sex in them and not be purely classified as erotica. You do you!! ❤
