music perectly matches vibe, like it, also remembers me a lot to f-zero, cool game
the game was amazing but i felt that it could be over too quickly
Super fun game and great art style!
Overall, this was really fun to play! The image is my score on my winning run
you guy's did a great job on the presentation here! it takes a bit to load in the browser but after the first death it ran buttery smooth on my old thinkpad :D the controls are super simple, which I appreciate. for my liking it's a tad too fast and I think the game would have benefitted from a bit of a grace period after being hit. my first death was very fast - but maybe that's a deliberate design decision (for the sake of "retro")?
I really liked the implementation of the theme and wildcards in this game. They're good ideas.
Ever had one of those moments where you're staring so intently at something on the screen it gets burned into your vision for a bit? That was me after beating the boss. I'll add my voice to the chorus of those wishing the controls had been more responsive, and the lack of sound effects is shame, but apart from that, this was fun! I really like how well you captured the synthwave imagery.
Solid entry! Very atmospheric, smooth controls and nice visuals/audio.
I am in the camp of wanting snappier controls; it just feels more retro to me. Personal preference really, I think the current controls fit the game/level design well and feel good too.
Wish the controls were a little snappier but it was a good time regardless! Solid music too.
My favourite game so far this Game Jam. Love the controls, aesthetic and the music. Occasionally would run into a bug where the ship would just stop shooting after destroying a yellow object, but apart from that, great game
Game was a lot of fun! The boss fight was a bit underwhelming, but overall the game was great!
I like the Audiosurf vibe, but I didn’t like the controls. The ship feels like it has too much inertia and is hard to control.
Perfectly fits the theme! Loved the synthwave aesthetic :)
the art style is neat! pretty cool...I really enjoyed playing...it is true that the ship feels great to control. Nice entry!
I like the outrun aesthetics and the synth tune. Ship also feels good to control. Well done!
Love the vaporwave aesthetic! It took a minute to figure out how to play, but the reset was really fast. I found it challenging but I also struggle with these games
Really cool game! I loved the atmosphere, and the ship feels awesome to control. The weight and inertia make it feel really satisfying.
I was a bit lost at the start and wasn't really sure what to do. Maybe a quick in-game tutorial or a few basic instructions would make the first few minutes easier.
Other than that, I loved the visuals and the music. Great job!
I like the outrun aesthetic! The shoot function doesn't seem very responsive though, I feel like I have to hold down the space for quite a while before a bullet comes out.
