Very well designed and thought out puzzle game. Had a great time! Got stuck on the level in the screenshot. Was I far off the end?

There is very little to criticise here. All the mechanics work flawlessly, each puzzle builds on your knowledge of existing mechanics, and the difficulty curve is really good. The art is very pleasant to look at, reminds me of a board game Chameleon.

I guess the only complaint I had was that the grey blocks weren't really explained so it took me a while to figure out what to do with them.

Also, huge number of levels for a Game Jam. Well done! :)

Wow, thank you so much for such detailed feedback!

Well, the idea for the frozen letters was to build around their abilities as you are able to see what the frozen tile's ability will be once it comes into play, maybe it wasn't as apparent as I originally thought.

Congratulations on beating it! I believe you are the second person ever to beat it! At least to my knowledge. I'm still yet to beat it myself :D

I probably would have added some small sound effects for navigating UI, but I ran out of time. The game wasn't properly finished until 24 hours before the deadline and then I spent the rest of the time fixing bugs and adding some small elements I was advised to add by my play testers and that was it.

I did also notice that sometimes you're stuck waiting on a tile or two for the round to finish. I couldn't come up with a way to not let that happen. Having the abilities trigger when the letter has already turned green would work in theory, but it wouldn't have worked for me because of the way I setup my state machines. I wouldn't have had time to fix it.

It makes me very happy to hear that you loved it!

It's possible the game end screen isn't working as intended, I didn't do much testing on it which is definitely an oversight on my part.

The shooting sfx is quite satisfying and I had a lot of fun. I felt the camera was a little bit too zoomed in and I didn't really see the point of the count down as you just had to wait for enemies to come to you anyway. The power ups seem well balanced, and the game works well. Nice job!

Thank you! :)

I also never completed it... As far as I know there's only one person so far that beat a full board :D

The simplicity makes this game so easy to pick up and puzzles teach you something new with each level. I like this a lot, very relaxing to play alongside the music. The only issue I had was the controls were off screen when I put the game into full screen. Great work!

Thank you! :)

In a full game, the board would either expand, or player would have abilities to amend what's currently on the board, but I'm not sure if I want to take it in that direction. Thank you for playing!

I like the idea a lot, even though it's not a game for me. I'm really bad at manual dexterity stuff, so I found the reloading to be more frustrating than fun, but I understand it's a me issue, and not a design issue. I feel like allowing the player to see what bullet is going to be shot next would make the game more fun, but I understand why it's hidden. The game loop is easy to understand, the art is good and so are the sfx. Very nice job for a short jam!

Thank you for playing :)

Unlocking new abilities, or skills would have been out of scope for me for the jam, but definitely something on the radar if I were to take this further!

Thank you for playing! :)

Any suggestions? I didn't want to overwhelm the screen with too many moving parts as to not distract the player from pressing the correct keys.

Thank you for playing!

Seeing someone say "One more run" on one of my game is an insane compliment, thank you so much! :)

Thank you for playing! :)

I escaped :) I like the light mechanic, although it can get really dark to the point where you can't see what to do. The sound effect that plays as the light is about to run out got a little repetitive too. The art and the game loop are good and fun, although I didn't really feel scared for a horror game that much. Maybe if you added something that would stalk you, or follow you, it would bring more tension. Nice job :)

Silly and fun little game. Art is great, although the animations didn't really work, maybe because of the web build? Pretty short, but had a good time :)

I had a lot of fun! The game is simple, and the abilities you purchase matter and there's quite a bit of strategy to them. I didn't realise at first that I could come back to deposit and go again on the same day, but once I got the return ability it all made sense. Maybe add a few enemies to spice it up a bit?

Thank you so much!

I did increase the input window last minute as it was half of what it currently is, and I'm really glad I did :)

Font issue is pretty universal. Lesson learned.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Very interesting concept and actually kinda hard puzzles. I had to tap out in the room with 4 buttons on the left side. Very impressive for a solo effort as it would have taken me the entire jam duration to come up with the puzzles. Some sound effects would have been nice for the buttons.

Thank you! :)

The music actually desyncs after about 30-35 seconds of play time and I have no idea why... Thank you for playing!

A very simple yet brilliant concept. I didn't think much on the first launch and then when power ups appeared on screen everything changed. I believe I left the Milky Way, but couldn't get much further than that. The music could have been better as it was a little bit harsh on the ears after a while.

Thank you for playing! :)

Very cool little puzzle game. I like the robot, although he feels a little bit hard to control sometimes. Puzzles add a nice layer of complexity with each one. Wish there was background music.. Nice job! :)

Thank you for playing and the kind words! :)

Very immersive and unique experience! I liked it a lot, although did not really get anywhere as knowing what you can interact with is really tricky and you really don't get much time explore. I managed to get inside the locked room, but no idea what to do there. I'm assuming there will be a keypad somewhere to enter a code, but I have no idea where. Music is good, atmosphere is great and game is very intriguing

Thank you for playing! :)

I had no idea this could be an issue, but as others pointed out, it is something to keep in mind. Apologies!

Thank you so much for playing! :)

Yeah, the font opinion is universal

Visuals are great, game is very responsive and it's a very fun concept. The bombs didn't really matter as I was focusing on typing only. Is level 20 endless? I must have played for good 10+ minutes and didn't get to the end :D

I also made a typing game btw!

This is such a beautiful game. Insanely cool art, fantastic music, amazing core gameplay loop. I don't think I understand the stun mechanic even though I've done the tutorial twice. I've also not managed to beat the first enemy and I can't really see what I could have done better to not die. Very impressive effort on this!

Thank you for playing! :)

This is a hilarious game. Is this what it feels like to be an iPad kid? It's like an incremental game, but... backwards? Very creative, UI is simple, but it works. I probably would have skipped the vulgarity, but it's not a big deal. Nice work!

Congratulations! I think you're the first one to beat it!

As I said below to someone else, I hadn't even considered placing keyboard keys next to each other, that's such a cool strategy :)

Thank you! :)

One of my long term projects also uses Control only nodes, but it's sadly a little bit more complex than this...

Thank you. I'll definitely play around with tutorial ideas to get it right next time :)

I also never considered the strategy of placing keyboard keys next to each other, I solely focused on the ability aspect so it's really cool to see others are finding strategies I haven't even considered!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! :)

Thank you so much for your feedback!

It's possible that what you thought was H was actually K as the letters look very similar. The font has caused issues for a lot of people and it's a lesson learned for me.

Thank you for the comment on the tutorial! :)

Wow, what a great puzzle game! I almost gave up in the first room because I didn't know what to do and then read the description for controls. When I got to the room with the mirror behind you, it was a wow moment. Very creative, puzzles are deep and cleverly designed, it really scratches that itch. I had a very good time :)

I can see what the game is trying to do, and I want to do the right things, but the UI is kinda stopping me. I'm not sure if the states are not being reset properly in code, or I'm just not understanding the core mechanics, even though I read the description. The sound, art style and colour palette are great, very pleasing to look at and this has a lot of potential if you can get a core gameplay loop going :)

Thank you for playing! :)

Thank you so much! Almost all the feedback I received is about the tutorial. I'll sit down and think about making it better in the future :)

Yeah, someone else pointed out the keyboard issue. It did not cross my mind at all and will definitely watch out for it in my future projects.

I feel so relaxed right now. The artwork is very pretty and great to look at, although it did make me laugh that some birds look like criminals and have had their faces censored in the book :D I am a massive fan of the board game Wingspan and it's really cool to play a game like this, where you just watch some birbs. You could maybe add an element of gameplay to this by having the game ask the player to spot a certain bird within X amount of seconds and the player has to look in their book to see what the bird looks like and try to find them. Well done on making something so creative!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for the feedback about the tutorial. My aim for the next jam is to deliver something that works for everyone :)

Love it! Love the cat, love the satisfying gameplay! Finished it with 14 cuts left. Can't really think of anything negative, just a very solid, well made game!

Very relaxing game that presents itself really really well! Needed to fail once on my first attempt as I didn't understand the mechanics, but after one attempt it all made sense :)
