Thanks for playing! Yes, the difficulty was a struggle, since I wanted to have those moments when the aw goes in between 2 cheese and catches amouse and its awesome, but having that often times made situations like u said hapen. Once you play more you may realise that sometimes its ok to catch cheese so you can catch a mouse and not lose a life later.

The mouse have a range of speed, sometimes they are faster and sometimes slower. And every run is a little bit random, some runs are harder than others, and with the feedback I got it was definitely harder than I intended.
Once you get the hang of the timing of the paws it should get easier though

Thanks for playing! The idea was to get to the winning screen in like 3 or 4 times, but I was so used to playing it that maybe it was harder than I intended

Thanks for playing! With the feedback I got it definitely was harded than I intended it to be. My idea was that you should play a couple times to get the timing of the claws, and expected to get to 20 cheese (the minimum amount you need to win) in like 3 or 4 tries.
It was something to learn from for me. I needed more playtesting for sure, since I was so used to playing it that I judged the difficulty wrong
Yes that happens to best of us! My game was reported to be too hard multiple times as well so I changed the default difficulty to medium. we need to think the pacing we use as developers is extra hard bcs we've played too much and generated our own strategy but someone who plays it for the first time is not as experienced.

Thanks for playing! I might have made it a little hard, you have to get to 20 cheese. My tip would be sometimes you should catch cheese with your left paw so you can catch the rat with your right paw later.
