I might have went too far...

I think you have a pretty creative concept here. The lock mechanic makes for some very dynamic moves you can do. Unfortunately, I felt like much of the potential of this game was left untapped. The levels feel like they were just made to be playable, rather than puzzling. Most of the levels felt like more of a simple checklist of "hit these buttons" or "make a Mongat bridge over this open space". I think it would have been neat to have a limit on how many could spawn in each level, thus forcing you to manage your resources in order to complete the level. Without a limiter like that, it doesn't really feel like a puzzler, just a platformer with a neat mechanic. I'd also say that there were a couple spots where moving became difficult such as the level where you have to jump over another Mongat in a 2-block high corridor. One thing I would have appreciated is a zoom out function for when I needed a wider view. I think it was level 5 that was rather open. I will say I liked that the character movement felt responsive. While I would have liked the jump to be a little higher to prevent having to stack a million guys (it gets tedious) I understand wanting to keep movement snappy. I think with some finesse you could still pull it off.

Thank you very much for all the feedback. You addressed many concepts and suggestions I never would have thought of.

Pretty cool!  Switching between mongats is a little tedious and the levels where you need to make a staircase with them were quite time consuming, but other than that this was a very good game and nice concept!

Pretty good puzzle platformer. It would be nice if you could toggle guys by clicking them so you don't have to cycle through all of them.

My strategy for beating levels is just to spawn so many guys that they all become dispersed through the level and then you can just switch between them until you get to the one near the rocket haha

Cool! reminds me of lemmings. The spawn and lock system is clever, though the little guys can be frustrating to control (i keep bouncing off the ceiling when trying to jump over frozen mongats in 2 tall hallways, frozen mongats are still very round and very easy to slip off of, jump height feels inconsistent) I wish i could spawn mongats where my current guy was so i didn't have to roll them through the whole level over again when i needed a new mongat.

All in all really clever! i like your execution a lot good job c:

This is a nicely executed idea! The sound effects and mood of the game work well.

I kept getting the different keys mixed up and would spawn/freeze/switch at the wrong times, but making too many little guys is a funny side effect. Overall nice job!

Nice work! I was a bit confused at first because I didn’t realize I was still in the menu and not already in a level :D, but thats propably just me. The mechanic of spawning characters and locking them in place has a lot of potential for some really creative puzzle design!

Cool idea! Would be nice if you could spawn the new guy near the current guy, instead of having to move all the way from the spawn every time. Needs more SFX and music. Showing the next guy to be selected is a nice touch.

Really nice, I've enjoyed it very much!

Really enjoyed this! Love the concept and I could even see some replay value if you add some "Portal like" challenges like "finish the Level while only using x amount of Mongats" or "finish in x amount of time". Very solid entry, great work!
