This was really really impressive! Tight little project that accomplished a lot. Music and ambiance worked perfectly with the visuals and the general vibe of crawling through caves and dungeons in classic games. Combat could have used some depth and especially a sense of impact with animations/sounds, but this is a very cool project. Well done!
I was immersed and I loved cave exploration. My cursor disappeared in full screen mode so I would have to leave the full screen to finish dialogue. Great job overall.
Thank you so much! Enjoyed your game as well. Looking forward to your future jam games!
The atmosphere is very good and I like the graphics. I did run into a bug where after I talked to the guy at the start, the dialogue would never go away, and I couldn't pick up the sword..
Thanks for playing! We didn't get to test thoroughly on Web build but if you press escape you can toggle between cursor mode and movement mode. Hope this helps!
The game is very good, but I don't know where to go
Thank you!! At the start, speak to the merchant who enables the Weapons quest. Search for the two sword pieces, bring them to the merchant who will craft you a sword. With the sword, you can break down the gate and proceed to the spider enemies. Good luck!
Cool retro art and atmosphere felt nice. I wasn't able to pick up any sword unfortunately. I tried looking at it and pressing E, but that didn't work.
Speak to the merchant at the beginning first who will enable the quest that will allow you to pick up the sword pieces. Hope you can try it again, and thanks for giving our game a go!
i got lost in the cave unfortuntetly ;-; and how to pickup the sword?, but I like the vibe its soo cool
Thanks for playing! You won't be able to pick up the sword unless you speak to the merchant at the beginning of the level. Then when you have both sword pieces, speak to him again and he'll forge you the sword :)
Really nice, creepy atmosphere :) the ambient sounds and music were spot on. I think the only thing it needed were some sound effects for when you landed a strike, since it was tough to tell if they were in your hitbox. Other than that, I enjoyed this one quite a bit! Well done!
I had created a bunch of sound effects (first time as sound designer/composer) but sadly ran out of time implementing them in the game. It definitely would have added to the feedback and gameplay. Thanks for checking out our game!
Nice job! Really immersive!
Thanks for playing, really appreciate it!
Nice work! It was tough to navigate the caves, but I think that plays in nicely to the atmosphere you were going for. I really liked the models for the spiders and the man in the cave too.
Thank you so much! It was my first time making a game in the 3D space, but it was a lot of fun and I learned so much. Thanks for playing!
I'm impressed with what you all managed to accomplish before the deadline! The atmosphere is spot on with the gameplay. Well done!
Thank you so much!! We had some hiccups in the beginning, and lost valuable time, but we pulled it together in the end. Thanks for playing!!
Cool game! I was really immersed. Great work with the lighting and audio. I couldn't figure out where to go after the big spider. I think leaning into the maze aspect could be interesting.
Thanks for playing and feedback! This is our first jam together as a team. Our artist did a really good job with the graphics. So after the spider boss, you jump up the half step and go to the end to an elevator shaft. Taking the elevator down will end the campaign. We planned on a bigger world, but had to cut scope due to time unfortunately.
