Super creative concept! I don't usually do too well with horror games but I actually played this one for longer than I expected! I think the satisfaction of evading the monsters and beating the level kept me going
I love the style and different modes! I was only to scared to finish the whole thing lol.
That was really scary.
Oh man, I was not expecting that!
Not a huge fan of horror, but LOVED the execution on this! Great twist on a classic! And amazing for a 1-person project
Had a blast playing it, thank you for making ^_^
I liked the 3d mode very much, and it was harder to beat than I expected. I had fun!
i liked gameplay and how retro and 3D part work with each other. In retro one you just train yourself before what will be in 3D. And game is super fun!
A nice mix of the retro and horror genres. I liked the 2D and 3D mix, and the 2D part is especially great because it gives the player a rest from the horror atmosphere AND manages to create a lot of anticipation for the next horror mode at the same time. This might just be my personal preference, but I think it would have been cool if you 'marketed' the game as a 2D retro pac-man style game on the cover art and screenshots, so that when the 3D part happens the player is like 'oh wtf?' But that's a pretty minor thing as the atmosphere is still excellent in the horror section regardless. Nice work!
This was so sick! Every new element to up the difficulty was so good. Going from 2d to 3d was amazing, got real goosebumps throughout the game. Loved the art too, the 3d models of the monsters were great. Sprinting did seem a little OP though as I could squeeze past monsters on 3d and sprinting made the 2d quite a bit easier. Overall super cool game 5/5 from me.
Fun and scary! Great Job
I really liked this one! The jump scare is jarring but not too harsh, which I appreciate. The SFX/Music volume sliders don't seem to work, only Master...
Very scary game, I like it!
Great job everything down to the itch page is amazing. I love the sound design and art direction. The gameplay was also really great! Also, nice username................
"YOUR TURN" hahaha no thanks!
Very fun and scary, such a great concept to use the 2D game as a medium to inform about the monsters. Also great work on the monsters, they are terrifying!
Having two different versions of the game was so cool! It definitely felt retro, and the horror bit was extremely scary.
In the 3D version I ended up always sprinting. I liked (i.e., hated!) in the 3rd level being surrounded by enemies and having to dodge them. Having a limited sprint, or just slowing down the player, could help add to the horror.
Very cool game!
Loved the idea of playing the game twice made understanding what to do for each monster really understandable. i also dreaded playing it in first person after playing it in the Pac-Man version. Liked it a lot.
I like the concept of playing 2D then same but 3D. Really cool to see how they behave first. My main issue was, i don’t like WASD, you should add arrow key at least for those who use the right side of the keyboard.
Very cool monster designs! What a fun twist on Pac-Man.
