The light of nobility has arrived!
I have to admit, there's only a handful of visual novels I've enjoyed, and I'm happy to say this is one of them!
Everything from the artstyle and the writing, to the minigames and audio was all perfectly SBIG!
Getting a band of misfits together to take down the dragon honestly felt really neat and like it was building up to a big dumb event. This was a long VN, but tbh I barely noticed because it kept me engaged and the pacing was really well done!

An underrated gem. It's almost an epic fantasy adventure, except it's batshit insane at every turn and looks like it was drawn in MSPaint.
I wish the Radiance Knight got an ending slide, that living flashbang was my favourite character despite her limited screen time. All of the characters had a lot personality, though, and the story was hilarious.
I did find the timing-based minigames pretty frustrating. It could be my machine, but there was always just enough lag to throw me off. Maybe these should be slowed down a bit.

The character design is absolutely excellent! I was really invested in the story, and even though it was one of the longer VNs I've played for a SBIGJam, it didn't really drag on at all, mainly because the dialogue and visuals were just very hilarious!
I love the random voice lines from radiance knight. The actually-somewhat-linear progression of the game did help to tell a great story, while doing very well to give the illusion of choice.
Surprising amount of little gameplay sections for a renpy game as well! Wasn't expecting them but they did help break all the dialogue really well.
Not much negative to say at all with this game. Had a really good time!
